Better Fighter...Hatton or Margarito?

It depends what you mean by better. Better skilled? Or just a Better fighter? If we go with just "better" as pointing towards nothing specific but their success vs. peers, I'll go w/ Margarito.

when I think 'fighter' I think brawler, a lamotta someone like that. if you mean that term I'd say margarito by a frikking mile. But Hatton is the better boxer. Although that's not the greatest of compliments saying he's a better boxer than Margarito.

I think that Hatton is a better fighter....I think that Hatton has better skills and talent, however that dont always translate to winning fights....

I think that Margo for the most part has been match well, vs guys that do in the ring what makes Margo look the best....What Im saying is Margo hasnt faced any slick boxers that move much....

Who is "better" will always be a "subjective" question. It depends on everyone's leanings. So maybe the best question is who do you prefer.

. . . but between the two I'd prefer a Margarito type fighter . . . a fighter who moves forward and punch than a Hatton type fighter who moves forward, tie you up and sneak in punches.

Reason why he lost to PBF is Hatton wasn't able to bully PBF. :deal

 

p4p Hatton is better than Margo. Hatton doesnt hold the size advantage that margo does.

 

I rate Margo slightly higher.

 

Hatton is better. Linear at 140 and a belt at 147. Like someone else mentioned he doesn't rely on size to beat his opponents.

 

Hatton is better and has accomplished more.

 

Do you hold it againast Floyd to use his speed and agility to his advantage? :huh

Not sure why margarito using his size is seemingly a bad thing.

 

No I don't it's god given talent. I guess the ability to drain weight like Margo is a god given talent as well.
