Don't know about that. Hatton often leads with wide powershoots from the outside and neither guy uses much of a jab so I think we can count that one out as well.

Margo is the better fighter IMO. Not by much, but he's a little more technically solid and has the chin to withstand more with an aggressive style than Hatton does.

You don't like the Prince? The man was the king of entrances and entertainment brought alot of attention to the lower weights and had ATG one shot KO power. I'm a Prince fan, its a shame he quit boxing after losing to MAB.

This is one of thes easiest posts... Hatton is by far the better, and more accomplished fighter.. In fact, Hatton beats Margarito...

H2H at 147, Margarito crushes him within 3 or 4 rounds.

P4P, I give a very slight edge to Hatton just now, but expect that to change this year, I sense a very good year for Margarito coming up, and a bad one for Hatton if he gets the Pacquiao fight.

Why do you insist he's draining? Aside from a recent rumor, there's been no talk that he even has trouble making 147. Gaining 10-15 pound overnight is NOT an indicator of weight draining. Just means he's hydrating a lot. Sure some might starve themselves to make weight, but there's no evidence of that for Margarito at all. It's like you want to believe that more then there is any indication of such.

As for who's better, I said Margarito. Skill isn't always a testiment of who's better. I prefer to look at who each has beaten in their division, how they've looked in the process, and how they match up vs. their peers.

Dude now even you can admit you're talking out of your ass. Moving doesn't get you away from tony. Look at the cotto fight he was moving for most of the fight. I'm not saying it was the greatest movement. But margo has a way of stalking you till your legs run out. Name me a fight where simple movement has beaten margo. And i wouldn't say ricky is the better body puncher either. In fact, what do you base this on?

And you're talking about ricky closing in on an instant....who the **** cares. Often times if you jump in when boxing you get Made by a nice counterpunch. Watch the hatton mayweather fight to see how blind pressure gets someone ktfo in an embarassing fashion. Also look at the collazo fight to see how hatton gets Got by trying to hug his opponent.

Margarito takes a mad dump on Hatton. This is not even comparable.

I think Margarito could beat Williams if they fought again, but I wouldn't be too confident about that. To me that's a 50-50. I think Williams is the superior fighter and will have a better career, but for some reason I just can't see anyone taking that belt from Margo at 147. I think he's going to be a rock-solid champion for a few years.

What would Hatton have done to that version of Oscar?? Probably much the same. I don't think he would have done it any more impressively as he isn't as fast as Manny and I doubt he hits harder.

Speed kills. Manny Pacquiao will be as fast in the 11th and 12th rounds v Hatton as he is in the 1st. Pacquiao late knockout, you can take that to the bank. :good

    I agree:

    Pac knocks out Hatton late....probably.

    I disagree:

Margo loses his title in 1 year, to 1.5 - depending on who he fights. Plus Margo has already hit his peak. He will look less than spectacular this year - his win with cotto will be his gem...forever. He is a pressure fighter that gets hit so often, and he started his career at 15.

Williams has the edge in the next fight. He won the fight probably 8-4 by most. Plus he has the size, speed, and stamina to outwork margo again. And i've been

I think so, I think that in order to beat Floyd you have to have one shot power and fast hands, I dont think that a fighter like Margo could beat Floyd...I think that Margo would offer a different set of problems for Floyd, I think that his size(height) isnt going to be one of them being that Margo doesnt use is jab or height...

People like to use the fight with Castillo as a gage to how a fight with Floyd and Margo would play out, I think that Floyd would fight Margo different, I dont think that he would stay in front as much and would fight him more like he did vs Oscar..

both great fighters, but overall margo's the better fighter. next to gatti, he's become the ultimate blood and guts warrior. he blocks punches with his face and counters. if you want to talk flashy combos or technical aspects of the game, just about any boxer is better than margo, but margo is a straight up give and take fighter. i don't think he uses his size at all that's a ludicrous thing to say when the guy doesn't even use a jab often!

Hatton is better fighter now because SR is training him but before you say both were just as equal. No defense just come forward and takes shot just to land one of theirs. But right now Hatton is the better fighter and honestly Margarito is not a skilled fighter just a tough SOB that keeps coming forward no matter what.

    Margo better everything.
If they fought, Hatton takes the beating of his life.
Hatton would be lucky to make it past the 3rd round.
    Margo definately the better fighter.
Whatever Hatton has, it just plain wouldnt work against Margo.
