I watched this fight but didn't pay too much attention to it. On this ESPN article below, it states that Collazo was close to being robbed. So how did you score this fight? I always assumed that Hatton clearly beat him. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3832164 BTW, the official scores were 115-112, 115-112, and 114-113.
I had it 115-112 in favour of Collazo. I'm also a huge Ricky Hatton fan but come on, that was a gift.
Collazon won by 4 points on my card cause I did score the 12th round 10-8 although some dont. Its a fight that had about 5 or so very debatable rounds but I cant give Hatton anything more then a draw no reason Collazo shouldnt have walked away with his title that night.
i had it barely for Hatton the flash KD won it for him but felt the bad call by the ref not ruling the kd at the end also saved him.
Hatton 114-112 1. Hatton 10-8 clear 2. Hatton 10-9 clear 3. Hatton 10-9 close 4. Collazo 10-9 clear 5. Hatton 10-9 close 6. Collazo 10-9 clear 7. Hatton 10-9 close 8. Collazo 10-9 clear 9. Hatton 10-9 close 10. Collazo 10-9 clear 11. Hatton 10-9 very close 12. Collazo 10-8 very clear
You have to be an idiot to claim a close fight like that is a robbery. I think I had it a draw first time. Can't bring myself to watch Hatton twice.
Collazo is the reason Ricky dropped back down to 140. Too funny. Just think what Margarito or Cotto would've done to Ricky.
A case could be argued for a draw - the 11th was the key for me, but Hatton initiated the action whilst Collazo took a bit of a breather. The 7th could be a clear round for Hatton.
