Floyd generates alot of revenue from his haters as well as his fans.

Pac's haters are all Mexican and therefore broke. :D

If he did, our national anthem would be his favorite song "Laban ko, Laban nyo" which is really a f*ck up song.

Our national sport would be boxing.

Our economy would f*ck up more.

Those politics hangers of his would end up getting more money and staying for a long long time. Which also f*ck us up.

    So yeah, f*cking no way.

Well I guess it depends on how you look at it! When you say fans are you looking to see who has more, or are you looking to see who's more well known? I believe Manny has more fans, but as far as being more well known I'm not so sure! Floyd is a household name where as Manny isn't yet. I know alot on here who are Manny fans would like to say that, but he's not. It circle is strictly boxing. Floyd's branches outside of Boxing making him known in many circles. I'd say Manny has more Boxing fans as he comes off more likable when it comes to the sport, but Mayweather is much more of a household name! Hardly anyone I know knows who Manny is by name or appearance whereas as it's the opposite w/Mayweather! Even if it's not as a fan,...more ppl know who Mayweather is!

Good point man. Are you saying that floyd has transgressed the sports of boxing like ali to a certain extent?

Not quite like Ali, or Oscar, but because of how he outsourced himself he brought an appeal, and fans who normally would careless but wanted to see if he was as good as advertised! He helped himself out alot and became a household name not just among Boxing Fans!

This is an interesting question, because a lot of posters in various threads have assumed that US PPV sales for Pacquiao v Hatton would be 800k, because that's what Mayweather v Hatton got.

But Mayweather and Pacquiao both fought DLH and the Pacquiao fight only sold just over half as many as the Mayweather fight.

Still waiting for someone to explain why Pacquiao v Hatton would do as well as Mayweather v Hatton in US PPVs.

pac has a built-in fan base in the US. there are about 4.5M filipino-americans living in the US now. i'm sure each and every one of them knows and follows pacquiao's exploits just like his countrymen back in the phil. i guess he should have more fans in the US than mayweather.
