hatton is an elite fighter,and king of 140.
i think it is an insult for pacman to ask for a 60/40 split.
what do you think hatton should do?

I think he should take the 40% and be happy. Pac has loads of options. Hatton doesnt have any other fight that could further his legacy and finances like this one could

is there any fights out there for pac that would generate more than 50% of a pac v hatton fight? pbf and he's already fought oscar, no one else will make him more money.

 

A fight with Pacquiao isn't even his biggest option, Pac is not a draw for casual fans. Ricky should walk.

Negotiate for a winner-takes-all scenario, then get in the ring and have his head kicked in by Pac.

End result: no money from the fight and no name for the resume.

 

You make an interesting point here. We don't know what the 40% actually stands for, do we. 40% against Pac might mean $40 million or it could be significantly less, we don't know.

If indeed 40% of fighting Pac is in the very high millions, then as you said "Does he have another opponent to net that type of cash?"
