Basically for those of you who box either amateur, the some who may have turned pro or those who have retired, what is/was your fighting record?
0-0 mate.. but preparing for my first.. its called diploma-fight, a fight where it isnt allowed, to ko each other or hit as hard as you can, but of course we are gonna go at it.. in the end the judges give you a score, which is given upon your technical ability.. hopefully ill get over a certain amount of points and in the end "graduate", then next stop is a real boxing match.
42-1-0 (37) - 1998 - 2003, 2 x RBF and UCBA Welterweight Champion 2000 - 2003. This was in a profitable Amature orginazation that folded in November 2003, hence my early retirement and football career.
Amateur - 45-1-1.....1 regional championship, one runner up Pro - 6-1 4 ko's...loss by DQ. Had to stop due to cutting. Got to the point that I would get hit on teh nose and under my eyes would pop open. Took up coaching and judging, which I still do although some experience judging left a sour taste in my mouth.
0-2 After being an outstanding athlet in other sports I tried boxing - only to find out that I have very little potential in it.
0-0 ----- Everyone is avoiding me!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I boxed when I was younger (8 to 10 years old) but wound up concentrating on hockey instead. Looking back I wish I had stuck with boxing.
4 - 0 Amateur. In my fifth fight spent most of the day sweating my nuts off to get down to weight only for the ****er not to turn up. It was that and my trainer getting a DUI that kinda put an early end to it. Plus that most evil of creatures women! :yep
