I think this is a bad fight for Khan. Mab might be past his prime but I still think he has enough to beat a stooge like Khan. Dude couldnt even handle a jab by a not so great talent like Prescott.

Those hooks Prescott landed would have hurt any lightweight ,I dunno about the jab though:p

If Khan wins, Barrera is obv shot and I expect no arguements.

Let's get this straight. Pacquiao stopped Barrera, not Roach.

I do think that Khan has the speed, stamina and size advantage in this fight, but he lacks in the pro experience and chin department very very much. The late version of Barrera knocked down JMM (not credited) and hurt PacMan at least two times, was able to land flush counter shots on both of them. I have no idea what Frank Warren, usually extremely safe with his decisions, is thinking. Barrera is over the hill, but not shot. In fact, he's looking for a world title shot.

It will be a very interesting fight...

Well if Mab does beat Khan then the kid is finished. It would be better off fighting a few more nobodies. But if he beats Mab then his name gets thrown into the mix at LT for a title shot. Though I dont think he beats Nate, JMM or Diaz.

Rubbish. What's the point of khan having the fight then?

If MAB is shot, say so NOW.

This is a great fight. Khan has been a pro for 4 years and has 20 fights under his belt. Its time to see how good he is.
He got hammered the last time he stepped up in class so we’ll see how he copes with Barrera. I don’t know if Warren is throwing him to the lions and happy to collect 1 big payday before he vanishes into obscurity or he really believes Khan is the real deal.
Maybe Roach has done wonders and Khan can take a punch better after getting used to being smacked about by Paccy in sparring.

Time will tell, but Barrera is BIG favorite in this one.

I say he is shot. But he still might give Khan a lost.
