been on to oddschecker.com and most british bookies slightly favour khan at around 4/6 with barrera 11/10.im considering having a big bet on barrera @3/1 to win by ko/tko as i think once MAB connects it will be over, what do esb'ers think?

MAB has not looked impressive as of late. I think he is done. And will be stopped by Khan.

I think kahn is going to get knocked the **** out. You can't train punch resistance.

I think the fight is at 135. BArrera wouldn't have much power there.

i think this will be khans night

    1 hes faster than barrera
2 hes more powerful than barrera
3 hes got a longer reach than barrera
    4 barrera last stoppage 2005
5 Roach and pacman know his style inside out
6 at 34 hes seen better days
7 khans a bigger frame so barrera aint gonna back khan up

I am British and I aint going to be bias. Khan hasnt got a chance unless Barrera proves to be wayyyy past his prime.

I think Khan will last a few rounds with his pace keeping Barrera at bay, but Barrera has a good chin and very skillfull so Khan wont be able to do much damage, then Barrera will pounce in the later rounds between 7-11 and KO Amir Khan.

I like Khan but I think this will be the end of Khans career if he loses tbh, because he was KOed by Pescott, then Barrera will prove he isnt cut out to fight the big boys.

In my Opinion, Khan would make a good British or European Champ. Nothing World Stage.

    MAB will win.

    Pac won't stop Hatton.

Mosley will beat Margarito or at least he won't be stopped.

I think that would be a great bet. MAB hasn't KOed anyone in years, but he's also a very smart fighter who knows the easiest way to beat him is to land a couple square on the chin. I think you'll see a different style from Barrera than we did against Pac or JMM.

Margo KOing Mosley is a fool's bet, IMO.

A lot of people in Britain will bet on Khan just cause they like him and don't know as much about Barrera. They (the bookies,) have to consider what they will pay out in each eventuality, even if their experts think Barrera has a good chance, if all the money is going on Khan, the odds on him will shorten.

It looks a good price on Barrera to me, you often see the same with e.g. foreign football teams playing British clubs in European ties.

At those prices I would probably bet on Barrera by KO and bet the same ammount on Barrera by points. Do that and you'll only make a big(ish) profit if Barrera gets the KO but you get your money back if he wins on points too.
You can also bet live during the fight and if it doesn't seem to be going your way, bet on Khan to try and get your money back - though if he's starting as favourite that might mean a big bet as the odds on him will be **** if he looks good at the start of the fight.
