I don't think that he is overrated at all. He seems to be underrated lately. If he is really overrated, than I hope you aren't a big Mayweather fan... because that makes his resume even weaker.

How does it backfire? I wanted opinions if people think Hatton is overrated. So what?

I picked somewhat overrated mostly cause I never got to see the fights that I thought could really test him at 140. I always wanted to see Hatton and Gatti at 140 but Gatti got old quickly and the fight never materialized. Obviously this isn't a fight on ability, but it would've been a fun fight to watch. I thought Witter could have been a good fight for him too. I wanted to see him fight Cotto at 140, but Cotto never became popular enough at 140. So we ended up with fights against Urango and Castillo. Props for the wins over Kostya, Collazo, and Malignaggi. If Collazo can win a belt again that win will look better same with Malignaggi. If that happens then I'd say he is about properly rated. If he fights and beats Pac it would do volumes for his reputation.

You started with, How overated is hatton?, then you make a poll which says is hatton overated? whilst showing a clip of him getting knocked out.

Yet still somehow people think he is "not at all" or "underated"

    FAIL!

    LOL

like I said, hypocritical and considering your pretty decent posts in the other thread. This shows a lack of class to laugh at a boxer putting himself in harms way for your entertainment and being KO'd in the process.

    :-(

hatton is not overrated, he is a top 8-12 p4p fighter and the lineal champion of the 140 division.
