Great fight! Kess is a very good boxer. However, he is 1 dimensional. Glen will find his edge and take him out.
I am still waiting for other sources, informations solely coming from Palle just doesnt count for much. Anything at all from camp Glencoffe?
Well, so far Kessler hasn't responded to Johnson's offer. So let's wait and see what the outcome is...
kessler wins this fight but i dont know if he will take it at a catch weight. he will want to stay at 168.
If the fight comes off and Johnson is favourite, I am going to stake some serious cash on Kessler! I don't see what Johnson has that could trouble him. I just see the Viking cracking off those piston jab-rights all night, mixing in the odd decent uppercut and controlling him like he did to Andrade. He has height and reach over Johnson, there's no evidence that his chin is anything less than stellar and I'd say he has the better power too (Johnson's KO of Jones flattered him - he is not a puncher). I can't for the life of me see how Johnson wins this.
I still can work ou how Kessler makes the SM limit. He's a big boy. I would be very curious to see if he was stronger and or better at LH.
He's not as big as he looks on pictures and on tv. If you saw him in real life you would realize his frame is pretty average.

They aren't in the business of losing money. However, they make mistakes occasionally, thereby letting guys like you and me walk away with a handsome profit.
Liked both fighters. Kess's jab is one of the best in the biz but Johnson's workmanlike relentlessness might frustrate Mikkel. But if Kess maintains composure and uses his physical advantages to the hilt, he should win a close UD over the Road Warrior.
Kessler's plan, if we all recall, is to come to America, stay busy and get known. Johnson is NOT a big name, but he's almost as difficult a fight as taking on some of the bigger names. Kessler could thrash someone like Allan Green, Fully Zuniga or Sakio Bika instead. There would probably be as much profile in those fights as there'd be for Johnson. And those fights would also make 168 and therefore be world title fights. Try again! (Still, would be a nice gamble, something you'd think a prime Toney would do without hesitating - to kick some arse and to stay busy/keep the weight sensible - but that's another story)
