Well bud, I am not working right now but I do not share your view.

I got where I was because I earned it. I feel what all the jobless out there feel right now. Boxers, though, risk their lives everytime they enter the ring. It is their job. There are hundreds of boxers and very few are given the chance to big pay days. I am sure they earned it. If Pac feels that's what he's worth, so be it. I myself though think 50/50 is right.

This isn't a Middle Eastern marketplace though. Bluffing isn't looked upon kindly in the real business world.

A lot of Pacquiao's money goes to homeless, jobless, sick, scholarship programs.

Hatton needs that extra 4M for his party fund.

man, we got thousands of pages & hundreds of threads which explain 'why' on both sides. heres my quick & personal view....

    1) pac is the #1 p4p king and has earned the right to demand more based on overall accomplishments from past to present.

    2) the upset over oscar essentially put pac in the driver seat, for he had lost, hatton could have demanded more $ & had a shot at fighting him @ wembley.

    3) i understand that ricky is a huge draw in the UK with millions to be made through tickets & ppv in which pac couldnt produce anymore with any other fighter right now. -but pac could fight floyd 1st (which he'd rather do) -lose, and a mega fight with hatton would still be there.

    4) ricky needs this fight more for his legacy than pac.

Thanks for taking the time. For myself; the numbers are strictly it. They don't pay Daniel Day Lewis more than Tom Cruise because he's a better actor. You know?..

I highly doubt he'd try to price himself OUT of a fight. This is just a part of negotiation.

Possibly so, Lance. I don't see how they can turn this down.

The way that Pacquiao went back a second time, and made a demand he knows clearly by now will not fly with the other side is what has some of us confused. Egos within Top Rank seems to be the cause of it all. Manny is in Elvis mode these days..

It is as well a 10% that Hatton felt he could live without.

It's extremely important to Pacquiao though. Extremely.
