I'm picturing a flashback to the Forrest-Mosley fight on this one, with Margarito being Forrest (but unlike Forrest-Mosley) and putting Shane to sleep........:yep I think it's going to be interesting to see how Mosley deals with Margarito's body attack.
Mosley has always been a sucker for that uppercut and no one does it better margo. And bodyshot is another weakness of mosley, he has a good chin but he can't handle body shots. Two of margarito's best weapons.
u think so? They weren't with Cotto and AM has a aura right now as being limited but invincible. The Tijuana Tornado is becoming more marketable.
I fully expect Mosley to be leading on the scorecards going into the 6th. But Margarito will overwelm the old timer from there on out maybe even leading to a stoppage, but i wouldnt bet on that. Mosley can take a punch as good as any fighter.
Nazim Richardson is a ****in' genius...forget about Mosley...it's what will NAZIM bring to the table...he's really good at creating the perfect plans for limited fighters. Hence...my prediction for a Mosley victory :good
Shane couldn't finish Cotto and he seriously struggled with Mayorga I think he's going to get hurt by Marge
I feel you. Exactly the same what I wish/hope for Mosley as well. I hope Mosley will be able to come close enough to Margo and score constantly. Then he should imho try to clinch. I dont want him to go backwards. I think becoz of Margos reach he would be still in danger. Margo only has to make one step forward to catch up with Mosley when SSM does two steps backwards. Going backwards, planting your feets for the punches, throwing combos, become mobile again would be too tiring for Mosley over 12 rounds. Anyhow, I cant wait for this one!
He had a close fight with cotto, but, didn't get the decision. He couldn't even seriously hurt cotto, and now he thinks he is gonna hurt iron-jaw margarito. If he thinks he is gonna stand there and trade with margo, he is in for a rude awakening.
If I were a betting man I'd lay my money down on Shane taking an asswhooping in this fight. Though I don't see Shane winning as out of the realm of possibility. I mean if he can resurrect the kind of hand speed and boxing performances he had against Collazo and Vargas not too long ago, he might be able to pull it off as long as he could withstand the strength and constant pressure of Antonio Margarito.
