puppies v sharks - no holds barred - now if it was on dry land, and the puppy took his time, it could be a close result!
I want Barrera to win, and I think he should win. But, I have the nasty feeling that Warren, or maybe Roach, has insider info that we don't (Barrera looking **** in training, getting put on his ass in sparring etc.) From the Warren angle it really doesn't look like a smart fight to make; he's been feeding Khan rubbish since the start of his career, then he puts him in with unknown Prescott and Khan gets his lights put out in quick order. Now comes the 2nd comeback fight, a bout you would expect Frank to go soft as **** with (boxing fans could even forgive him for that - an opponent who is a couple of levels up from ***an, but not a massive threat), but instead he announces Barrera. Seems very strange to me.
Looks as though it may be in Manchester at the MEN arena... Either way they are gonna fill it out...an thats a guarantee!!? Frank will walk away with a sold out arena...high PPV buys...an an even bigger back pocket!!? http://www.seetickets.com/see/event.asp?filler1=see&showcode=375266&n|showname=coming&filler2=375266
The Morales-Barrera trilogy just turned into a quadrilogy for me, with Erik clawing one back to make it an even 2-2. You wouldn't catch El Terrible wearing a number like that.
:rofl:rofl:rofl Just looking at them and without background knowledge I would fight the guy on the right and look for an 80 20 split to fight the guy on the left.
Frank knows when to pick them and Barreras probably faded enough for Khan to win plus being that Barrera Is a natural featherweight.
I don't know, Frank has shown signs that he's slipping up in recent times. He got it completely wrong with Enzo v Haye and the same could be said for Khans first loss. Khan's main asset is his handspeed, which is nothing Barrera hasn't seen before. I rank Barrera along with JMM and Hopkins as one of the most tactically astute boxers of the past decade. He'll know that Khan has problems fighting on the inside and there's no doubt in my mind that he'll fight the majority of the fight up close in Khans chest, wear him down and knock him out late. I like Khan and will rooting for him come fight night, but Barrera, faded or not, has too much in the locker for a fighter as limited as Khan
I sense a element of fear here.. One minute, Amir Khan is a glass jawed fighter..who will be knocked out by anyone decent. Next minute.. It almost looks like to me, that people are scared for Antonio Barrera. Really Scared, this can possibly.....turn very very very bad for Antonio Barrera.
Right I have had a good think and I have come up with an opinion on the match that I am comfortable with! Im happy with the fight being made, with it being at the MEN and even with it being pay per view... as long as Barrera wins! Ba-rre-ra, Ba-rre-ra, Ba-rre-ra!!:happy
