I know alot of the biased Hatton haters are pretty sure of a Manny win, But IF Hattondid pick up the win would he be finally widely recognised as the acclompished champion he is? or will it simply be MP is a blown up featherwieght etc etc....As was such excuses made when Hatton beat other credible opposition in his devision.

    Thoughts???

As far as I can tell, he's been a media darling since he beat Tszyu. He's a fringe top 10 P4P fighter who doesn't belong at 147. Of course his stock goes up if he convincingly beats Manny, but he's been far from disrespected in my book over the course of his career...

I think a lot of Hatton. He's done extremely well by just being aggressive and strong. He's got the heart of a champion and I think that is his greatest attribute as a boxer...and his committment to going to the body. Lovely work he does. But I think he get the kind of praise that is deserving of a fighter like him. He's like a Nigel Benn or a Iran Barkley....maybe a step lower at this point. But he gets props for being semi dominant as a champion. I mean he's only lost once to the best boxer on the planet at the time. He's shown weakness in his skills but he can work on that if he stays in the game. I dont' think he'll beat PAC but if he does it will be a great win.

That doesn't mean he's a "NATRUAL" 140 lbs fighter...that just means it would take more out of PAC loosing muscle to get down to 135 or 130 now that he's put on that kind of muscle mass. With PACs height, Frame, Reach ect....PAC should be at 135 without a doubt....maybe even 130.

Not if he fouls and hugs his way to a win like he did against Kostya.
