Who here had Mayorga winning the fight...

It was close and Mayorga did much better than expected. I think I had it even or Shane ahead by 1 round.

 

sugar shane was no way ahead, not a chance, i was scoring and was still being slightly lenient to mosley but had mayorga up by 2 or 3, **** judges again, one of the main problems with boxing today is the judges, has to be something done about that.

Crebs was watching another fight having Mosley that much up.
Lampley was verbal ****ing Shane with all the''God knows how you can have Mayorga up'' ****.

 

I think the reason some may think Shane was ahead is because it did not turn out to be your traditional Mayorga style fight, it was not that crazy brawl in which Mayorga has shown before in the past.

it was a much slower pace, more boxing than fighting, and when you have a guy like Shane in there against a guy like Mayorga, and you see a boxing match, usally you can easily be mislead into thinking it is shane who is controlling the fight becuase this is the pace he likes to set.

But the reality is Mayorga did not come there to make the same mistakes he has made in his past, he was countering shane with nice right hand shots, he had shane questioning himself all night long until that final round. But no doubt, Mayorga was landing the cleaner harder more effective shots until the last round.

 

I had Shane ahead by 1 or 2 points.

 

I had Mayorga up by 1. He came out to fight and got caught.

 

LMFAO-Please...those who had Mayorga up by 3 points dont' know how to score a fight...I'd gladly sit down with a couple beers and show you how Mayorga was behind 2 points in that fight..I had Mosley winning the 12th 10-7 if Ricardo didn' get up Mosley woulda won that fight by 5 pts if he had gotten up off his lazy ass...

 

No possible way he landed 11 percent of his punches all he did was rabbit punch,eat punches with his face,hold and cry fouls. That is not boxing he won no more then 4 rounds and thats being generous. After the 1st 2 rounds Shane battered him with flush right hands.

 

I had Shane up 6 to 5 going into the 12th.

 

If i remember rightly i had Mayorga up by 2-3 points going into the 12th.

I felt Mayorga out boxed Mossley in the early rounds and were as i don't like to critizise other peoples scoring (unless it is obviously ridiculous) i can't possibly see how anyone could have Shane winning by the mid rounds.

After this the fight became really scrappy as Mayorga reverted to type and these rounds were very close and really could have gone either way as both fighters weren't landing many clean punchers.

For me it was Mayorga's uncharecteristicly good skills and counter punching and Mossleys uncharacteristic hesitancy and bad timing in the early rounds that gave Mayorga the points edge going into the last round.

Thank god SSM made the scorecards a moot point because too many knuckleheads on here can't score a fight.
