    All these Americans on the General Forum, etc

    All claiming this Tomasz Adamek is the best Crusierweight in the World.

    He lost a UNA decsion to Chad Dawson

    And only just struggled by Steve Cunnigham in a split decsion in his last fight

    So whats all the fuss about ?

    Wales and Britains best hope and claim to the Crusierweights is

    Swansea Slugger

    Enzo Maccarenelli

    Enzo lost his last challenge to become the divisions recognised NO 1 when he cut David Hayes eye open but was caught with some powerful blows and stopped in the 2nd round.

    Enzo is still on a quest to be NO 1.

    In 2009 he plans to "Smash through the division" and win all the belts he can

    There are some juicy fights looming on the horizon for Swansea's Enzo

    WBO rankings put him on a collision course with the talented Alexander Alexeev

    Maybe a fight with Frogemeni for WBC honours

    Or a scrap with BJ Flores

    All these are possibiltys as the Crusierweight division looks to be warming up a bit

    The fact that Enzo is in the mix makes it all the more exciting.

    David Haye has removed himself out of the crusierweight mix

    So lets say as of now the NO 1 in the division is Tomasz Adamek

    How would Britains best Crusierweight hope fare in a fight with the current NO 1 ranked fighter in the division

    Enzo likely has a good chance. I actually think he's more skilled than Adamek. Adamek is not skilled like people think. He's a warrior, he's got a lot of heart, pretty quick, powerful and an excellent chin. But he is not anything more than a competent boxer. I think Enzo's height, skill and power would cause him more than few problems.

    Overall though, it may just come down to who takes the better shot, and thats Adamek. Adamek is not adverse to going to war, he would probably take Enzo into the trenches and out-tough him.

    Some of these Americans have only seen Enzo fight Haye............and so they think he is garbage

    Of course it was a poor performance by Enzo that night

    He disappointed alot of people

    Including a guy who lives in Swansea who put £4000 on him to win

    When you judge Enzo's preparation and his big talk leading up to that fight

    It was a pathetic performance

    Because he outpsyched himself and froze

    Backing off from Haye........instead of backing Haye up

    And then he got smahed away

    Enzo embrassed Wales that night..........it was supposed to be his big night.........and he made it easy night for Haye

    But Enzo has got to redeem himself in these big fights

    Adamek gets credit because he takes on tough opponents, has exciting fights and doesn't **** about waiting for meaningless titles.

    He beat Aussie hardman Paul Briggs in two ferocious bouts for the WBC title. Briggs is good, and hits ffvcking hard, and Adamek took his best and rallied.

    Dawson outboxed him, while Adamek was weight drained. Dawson had the wrong style for him, yet Adamek gave him the shock of his life with a late knockdown and seemed to take the late rounds.

    Adamek then moves up to cruiser, stops the former undisputed champ Bell - dropping him in rd 1 outclassing him and forcing him to quit. He stayed busy, stopped some other guys, and then beat Cunningham - a fast Yank like Dawson, but orthodox. Dropped him 3x, outslugged him in a classic.

    What more could you want? He's the top man at cruiser. "only beat Cunningham by split decision" - why hasn't Enzo got any scalps like Cunningham on his record?

    Enzo Mac is big, powerful and talented. But he doesn't take the kind of risks Adamek takes. He's only had 2 world level fights and in one of those he was starched in 2. Wait till Enzo's done something before comparing Enzo with Adamek.

    Adamek has earned his glory and Enzo just wants it handed to him on a plate, or so it appears.

    Anyone else just vote against Macrenelli just in the hope flint stops these threads. Really i read them at the start then i seen the hardest puncher thing with enzo's name below foremans' and thought whats the point.
