Williams beat him, Cotto had question marks all over him, and Mosley is 36yrs old and many believe well past his prime. Considering his skill level of course those fights aren't a walk in the park, but it doesn't say much about him as far as a serious champion. He's not fighting any current or reigning champions, he's not moving up in weight and challenging himself ... all he's doing is trying to cash in. A smart move for him would be to fight Williams ... I think its kinda dumb to turn down that kinda money and act like it never happened, especially when you don't go up in salary you stay where you're at. Anyone who doesn't take a chance of going up in salary isn't much of a fighter. He would never escape Paul Williams ... no matter who he beats ... The difference between him and Mayweather, is that Mayweather is undefeated, accomplished, and is overall a better more talented fighter.
atsch What fuking difference does it make. It was a stupid thing to say, that is the point. How would it make it better if they were "neutral"...:huh This place really makes laugh sometimes.
The difference between Margarito and Mayweather is that Margarito gives us the best fights at 147 and Mayweather never did. He held the division hostage during his time at Welterweight, and conned the public into thinking he was better than he was by beating on average fighters. Great fighter below 147, but don't talk to me about risks. Saying Margarito has taken no risks and being a Mayweather fan in the process is ****in' ******ed.
You expect it.He says it all the time.I mean Seeing Spadafora say Glass Jaw evryday ain't funny for months now.
Shane has two wins over DLH, and even at his age today, a win over shane is no different than Floyds win over Oscar those are a wash, other than Oscar who does Floyd have under his belt between 140-147? NOBODY!!!!! He already fought Paul Williams and I agree they should fight again, but the fact that Floyd ducked Margarito will never go away no matter what Floyd does, and its clear as day its not going away people are still talking about it, and at this stage people are starting to question Floyd and why he suddenly retired the week of the Cotto Margarito fight. Cotto put what question marks on Tony? it was a typical Margarito fight, he started slow kept up the pressure, found his man and stopped him.
Why bother replying to this guy. He is clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket. You would have more luck teaching an infant child advanced science, then you would have trying to give this guy even a basic level of common sense.
Floyd Mayweather was the undefeated champion of the division ... who knows if Margarito will ever acheive that status. Self Kill you are fully aware of Mayweather's accomplishments and credentials. There's no need to compare the two when its obvious that you're a Mayweather hater. Margarito doesn't display the sweet science when he fights ... Mayweather does ... i'm not a guy that gets psyched off of KO's ... I appreciate good fights with an emphasis on good boxing skills ... not wild ass, reckless aggression, with an emphasis on getting hit alot. That doesn't make any sense ... thats why he has 5 L's and Mayweather has non ... thats why Mayweather can be considered an ATG and Margarito not so fortunate. The proof is in the pudding ... Mayweather started off at 130 and worked his way to become a 3-time linear champion, and a 154 lb champion, while still maintaing his undefeated record. Margarito has never faced a linear champion of his division ... and he was very fortunate to get passed Cotto ... who had question marks on him since going the distance with Malignaggi ... getting hurt several times during his career and wasn't that strong of a boxer and as a welterweight.
