Are you Floyd Mayweather?Cuz it's bee said before?:think Hey Floyd.........yo momma's a junkie and yo fatha hates.:hi:
Are we talking risk vs reward? I'll say AM has taken some "risks." Cotto wasn't really a risk though-Cotto had more to lose than tony in that fight...Cintron in the 1st fight was a huge risk for Tony cuz Cintron was undefeated and Tony wasn't really known...I don't know if Floyd's taken more risks than Tony...I think Tony has taken a few more risks than Floyd...than again Floyd is small at WW fighting huge fighters like Baldomir who come in at 170 on fight night..thats pretty risky if you ask me...Floyd has also done something Tony couldn't do-Win a fight at 154...Tony has taken more risks though I'd say...cant front on him for that....Mosley is a risk IMO...If Tony loses to Mosley than he loses alot of credit in my book...if he beats Shane than all his fans are saying he is supposed to beat Shane..Shane is a huge risk IMO...Tony has taken more risks than Floyd I have to give it up there...
Its impossible to match up PBF's best opponents against Cott, AM & PW because you're talking about 6 different weight classes in between.
AM took a big risk in fighting Cotto, at the time Cotto was on the rise he had knocked out three common opponents that Floyd went the distance with, he beat Shane Mosley a guy who beat DLH twice. He fought Paul once already, fell short, Paul was asked for a rematch and Paul turned it down listening to goosen is haunting his ass now isnt it, and since then Tony came back to capture two major world titles winning three fights by knock out, Tony doesnt need Paul its the other way around, though all of you would like to think Tony needs him but he dont, Paul hasnt done anything since that Margarito fight to prove he is even worthy of a rematch, if anything he brought more questions then he did answers.
Keep telling yourself that bull**** excuse, this is boxing and in the sport of boxing each divison is set by weight, if a man can weigh 147 he can fight there no matter how tall no matter how short no matter how fat or skinny if they make the weight they can fight.
The criticism would hold some weight had Margarito not fought at 147 for the majority of his career. It's just bull**** to discredit a great achiever.
Thats cool, but isnt it time for him to show us why he's so great, and prove to us that he can beat bigger men?
He's all right, but when he said Clottey could pull a hopkins and beat Pavlik, that was it for me. :bart
He ain't great. He is just good.He would be too small at JMW to win at top level.Altough I thought he deserved to win vs Santos II
not even close. fighting hatton who was smaller than him in a weight he knew hatton was weak that's taking risks? and now, fighting the winner of pacman-hatton is another one, right? atschobviously there's more money in those, but don't make asses out of yourselves. just leave floyd alone with his ballerina classes and let real fighters like margo, pw, and cotto fight in the welter division. floyd beating anyone of those 3 is just speculation
