vargas and mayorga were both heavier than oscar and oscar still took them out. the santos-margo fights could of gone either ways, santos rarely stood toe to toe and when he did he'd connect, but was backpedaling most of the time. but ****, who the hell doesn't connect cleanly on margo? he pretty much blocks with his face. both are great fighters, and both took risks at somepoint, but i think margo taking on pw and cotto, not to mention powerpunching cintron, right after the other and now mosley than if those aren't risks than what the hell are they?

It's obvious that has no reasoning why Mayweather didn't fight him.

That's just it. He's always the favorite and would be over anyone in boxing 154 and down except Winky. He's that damn good.:deal

i think they will rematch eventually, but after years of being overlooked and finally being in the limelight, i think it's kinda obvious margo might want to cash in. these fights would help him become a household name, gaining more fans up to the pw rematch. same goes for pw taking other fights in the meantime. i'm sure it will happen, it's gotta happen

The comment was foolish, but this thread was created by a guy who made a thread about Floyd having more loses than Marg because he had 6 amatuer losses. Then goes and makes a comment about Williams dropping the WBO because he was ducking cotto. The OP has no room to talk whatsoever

Nah,your opinion. He would be favored against most or all but he won't necessarily beat everyone and we won't ever know this.Somehow it's his fault as it only lowers his ATG position.

Stupid argument. I could name a few way better in a P4P sense you forget most of PBF's wins came at 130 and 135. Of course much bigger guys like Clottey would beat G.Hernandez or Jesus Chavez. But what does that prove?

I can see some criticism coming Tony's way behind turning down Clottey and Williams, but comparing these choices to Floyd's "campaign" at 147 is pure comedy.

So according to you, it's his fault that he's not going to fight everyone till he loses.

No,it's his fault he doesn't fight somebody to make his ATG position better. But as he is retired his time is done.He is arguably a top 50 ATG.Could have done a lot better with his skills.
    Pernell did better.
