I just read on Fightnews.com that Miranda have big plans for 2009!
He say he feel sorry for anyone who steps in the ring with him, cuz he feel stronger than ever, and he learned to take better care of his body between fights! To me it sounds exactly the same he said when he moved up to 168, now its 175! How far do you think he could make it in LHW? and who could he beat in top-10?:think

Didn't you know? Abraham didn't knock him out, his nutritionist did.

Nothing will be able to help his Glass Jaw.

He gets KOed everytime he fights a good fighter.

He's not at LHW man,he is still a SMW,he just took this fight easy, didn't make 168,he came in at 172,5.If he needs to he will make 168.

If he stays at 168, I'd call out Froch if I were him. Might be about the level of fight Froch could get here. I don't look for Froch/Taylor to happen.

He ought to fight Bernard Hopkins' father, Jermain Taylor for a Title of some sort at 168.

Well let's see if Taylor actually refuses Froch and then maybe.

Well, Larsen has turned down Butte and that might be a fight JT would like better money wise. Froch may be "champ" but he isn't much of a draw outside Nottingham. Froch will let this go to bid knowing JT will go elsewhere when it happens. Then he can claim he is feared.... Only thing JT fears is a weak payday.

Showtime might see Miranda/Taylor as a fight 'years' in the making though. No telling how their thinking works. I'm not sure Miranda would want to make that step at this time though. He might not have 'knockout fear' in his head though.

There was a thread claiming Taylor had a March 28 Showtime date. This could be interesting but my guess is Kessler is on the outside looking in again. Too bad for him really, IF this happens.

He did say after the AA fight that he wanted to move up in 175! but maybe that was just talk! if he stays in 168, it wont be easier for him imo.. Kessler, Bute, Taylor and Andrade would for sure beat him!

Who knows if he can carry his power at 175?Besides his chi is highly questionable anyway. He has a puncher's chance at SMW.

Honestly? I like Miranda and wish him the best. I just wish he'd shut the **** up every once in a while.

A fun TV fighter although the chances of him becoming anything more than that aren't exactly astronomical.
