After 17 years Toney finally admits losing to Tiberi

I disagree a little bit with the title which refers to 17 years.

Toney had already admitted numerous times years ago that he lost the fight.Nothing new, there. But he also stated everytime that he offered Tiberi a rematch which was refused by the Tiberi Camp.

I do not know why people make such a big deal out of it. Toney won convincingly twice against Griffin and once against Peter. He also lost a very close one against Thadzi.

Toney was not himself that night against Tiberi. Toney suffered throuzhout the entire bout and could not get no air. I never thought he could make to the final table. This is a very hard sport and people who once boxed might have an idea through what Toney put himself that night. He was nearly defenseless at times because of his terrible conditioning. I respect the heart of the man, most boxers would have quit.

That being said Tibery did fought a good fight.

 

That's because Toney is a sore loser and a piece of trash. Waiting for him to admit he lost to Peter TWICE and Griffin.

Toney lost to Griffin fair and square, in his prime, with weight not being an issue.

 

Forgot all about that fight,Toney looked awful.A lot of good fighters have had a desicion or 2 go thier way when it probably should not have(Eubank for one)So Toney is in good company and at least he admitted he thought he lost even if he left it late.
