This would be a fantastic fight, and plenty would be on the line, pride, ego, bragging rights, and 2 Heavyweight Belts. The USA vs. the UK. Two massive egos and former Cruiserweight Champions, two men claiming the HW Throne, and two men who would make for some entertaining Press Conferences and a fun weigh in. Also, the winner would be securing a spot in the WBO rankings with that NABO belt. I say Toney by contraversial SD, my favorite kind of win, what do you ESB'rs think???

This is actually the type of opponent that I feel Haye should go up against. It would be a great match up. Can Haye stop Toney in the 1st half of the fight or will he run out of gas? Toney was blowing hard at the end of his last fight but his experience would be vital.

Its also one of those fights were you would look at the physical appearance of both guys and think Haye was certain to win, but thats not always the case.

And of course I'd expect some good verbal assaults in the build up too!

    Nobody stops Toney.

It would indeed be interesting. But the last time Haye chose Barett over Toney so I doubt it will happen.

Toneys chin is ironclad alright. Haye would be better hammering away at his spare tire!

I would love to see this fight but Haye could be the first man to put a serious ass whooping on Toney.

Toneys reputation for toughness can only last for so long.

You believe Toney would have gone to the UK to fight David Haye?

Haye was talking about Rahman-Toney winner but because that fight was a NC there was no winner and Haye went in a different direction and fought Barrett.

Haye had second thoughts after he watched Hasim get his one hit wonder ass rocked.

At this point I''ll take Haye.Toney is shot and was stunned by Oquendo,he was lucky Oquendo doesn't have power and workrate.

Toney is a fat steroid addicted slob. His career is over. He went 15 rounds total with Glass Jaw Rahman and could not even KO him or knock him down.

His best "win" at Heavyweight is Dominick Guinn. Think about that for a second.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

After watching the Oquendo fight I have no doubt Haye wins by stoppage. Now if it was he Toney that fought Holyfield that would be a different matter.

Toney doesn't have a true HW punch but Haye doesn't have a true HW chin.

Toney by surprise KO later in the fight.

I would say this fight is 50/50.

Why, because allthough Haye is younger and fresher and Toney has looked awful recently. Haye style is tailor made for a counter puncher like Toney.

Haye reminds me of Pavlik or Lewis early in his career, because he leaves himself wide open when he uses the right hand and i think that is where Toney could capatalise etc.

However, having said all that Toney could not beat an overrated clubber in Sam Peter and he managed to get hurt in both fights momentarily so.

Oquendo may not be as good as Haye, but his style would always give Toney more trouble than Haye's imo, because Oquendo does not fall in after he punches and he likes to pitty patter and pepper from the outisde without falling in. Haye does fall in and presents you with counter punching opurtunites imo.
