this may be old news to some,the filipino fighter who suffered bleeding on the brain following his great bloody war with michael katsidis last july has been cleared to fight again.
^ Happened in 07 when he fought Michael Katsidis on the Hopkins/Winky undercard. The two went to war and czar suffered a brain bleed afterwards. The funny thing is that he wasn't the only one. Oscar Larios who also fought Jorge Linares on the same card also suffered some kind of brain bleed. It was a night of brain bleeds. God bless him but Czar has too much heart for his own good and guys like him are the ones who end up getting seriously hurt mainly because he doesn't possess the necessary talent/skills to back it up his toughness.
No, I meant how did he get cleared by the doctors? I wouldn't clear the guy if I were a doctor. At least with Valero it was a motorcycle accident and he has proven that he can take a shot and not bleed anymore. Amondsot..i'm not so sure.
That was an awesome war between Amonsot and Katsidis. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was pretty clear that Katsidis was the more aggressive and was taking the rounds, but the question remained - would the fight get stopped due to the vicious cut around his eye? What a great fight!
