pac tell Hatton to f## of. he is lucky to get a shot at pac. pac sells alone. last 9 fights were ppv. Hatton 1ppv. Hatton is a nobody . he dont add to his legacy. this is pacs money fight so if he dont get it f### Hatton and his delusional fans that think he is better than he realy is.

he was taking on fighters who he thought wernt as good as himself apart from mayweather which i respect him for but never took on a real threat 2 his position as the best light welter ie cotto and witter who is horribly underrated u cant fault the mans balls when he went up 2 welter i admire hatton but i aint gonna kiss his ass

Wait it out and truly see how much of a man or business man Pacquiao really is.

This whole status thing is a load of bollocks. Whoever brings in the most money should get a majority, if there is going to be one.

If for example Pete Postlethwaite and Ben Affleck star alongside each other in a film, who would get more money?

The better actor (Postlethwaite) or the worse actor who is a blockbuster name and will put bums ion cinema seats? Hmmmm, difficult one. Fair or not, boxing is a business, in just the same way.

Pac is NOT a Mayweather/DLH figure, he has never been a big PPV attraction. Hatton is almost guranteed to sell 1m PPV in the UK alone FFS. Pac should take 50% AND stfu.

casual fans have never heard of pac?! :huh there is only one pacman of boxing and especially after the dlh fight, i'm sure that when the word pacman is mentioned in relation to boxing, casual fans know it directly refers to manny pacquiao, p4p #1 and the best fighter in boxing. as for hatton, casual fans will probably think of tommy hearns not him when they hear his "hitman" monicker.

hatton wants 50/50. pac wants 60/40. let them all compromise, meet at the middle and finally sign this damn fight at 55/45. if this fight makes 58 million for them as per estimates, pac gets 32 and ricky gets 28. not a bad split.

  10. I'm sorry but Manny is not the world star his fans make him out to be, he is a god in the Phillipines but other than that he has no cross over appeal and will only be known by boxing fans not casual sports fans.

Now i'm not saying Hatton is a bigger name but Manny is a boxing star but he is no Beckham/Micheal Jordan etc...

Hatton wanted 60/40, but was willing to compromise to 50/50. As well as comprimising on location. Shouldn't you be advocating they meet in the middle and sign at 50/50? :?

if there is even currently a beckham or michael jordan for boxing, dlh comes closest to it. but like you said, the pacman is certainly a boxing star in his own right.

    exactly

  14. Thats what I'm saying !!!

Manny fans well actually not all just the *******s have you belive he is this MASSIVE star that will attract 1 million PPV's in the US from now on and Hatton should be taking a lower cut because of it and that Manny will draw the most money. When it is simply not true.

no. i think it was originally 60/40 for pac with hatton keeping the UK PPVs while pac keeping the US PPVs. then, arum was able to make a verbal agreement at 50/50 with everything included in the pot. prob is that as per news reports, arum apparently didn't consult pac before doing this 50/50 verbal agreement with the gbp/hatton team.

so, currently the split is at 50/50 which hatton wants while pac wants 60/40. that's why they should meet at the middle and make it 55/45. as for the location, it made more financial sense for the fight to be in the US due to the US PPVs being drastically affected if the fight were held in UK and this will greatly lessen the total revenue of the fight.
