    In a different direction? The topic of the thread was is he a hero or a bust, what the hell does that have to do with Lockett new paragraph or not? You went off in a different direction and you can't back it up

    It does have to do with Lockett because as soon as Kelly lost they said "Oh he was overrated, he wasn't ever that good, he only beat JT and that's it, Lockett was a bum." Before, they gave KP credit for mopping up a solid (though not great) fighter in his first defence.

    Hopkins knows he's very talented...that says a lot to me....the loss might be the best thing that's happened to him....B-Hop gave an ATG performance, Pavlik did not respond in kind (for whatever reason)...I think Pavlik has not reached his apex....and I think he's got something to prove....don't underestimate his pride and hunger...

    . . . it's either you have a very high standard or you're desperate to pull Pavlik down or just simply dumb.

    Lockett has 30 wins in 31 fights, only 1 loss and has 65% KO percentage before he fought Pavlik; he worked with his blood and sweat to earn his #1 ranking . . . . and you're calling the guy a bum?

    . . . not because Lockett is not a house hold name in U.S. doesn't mean he is a **** fighter.

    . . . He may have looked like a bum against Pavlik simply because Pavlik is way above his class. :deal

    Lockett was about half a step behind the version of Zertuche that Kelly fought. Team Pavlik said repeatedly that Lockett reminded them a lot of Zertuche. It could be that is why KP smoked him so easily. He already knew exactly what he was up against.

    how the hell is he the saviour of boxing???? pavlik is garbage. he's only a hero in his hometown, he's a nobody everywhere else.
