116-111 is bad but Jesus what do you want from the guy.

Those two just delievered the fight of the year, I don't see that getting toped, and Berto showed balls of steel

I mean if your pissed your guy lost, I get that but come on, give Berto some credit here.

Berto deserves credit, no doubt. He fought through adversity and a tough opponent. No matter how you had the fight scored he really showed heart and grit. He came on strong in the 12th. Good for him, and his family.

Berto gets credit. People are skeptical that the guy who tomost seemed to etch it out didn't because he was fighting HBO's poster child..

Why do people throw the word hate so loosely? People are mad because the real winner was Luis.. It was a good fight but wont be fight of the year

absolutely...berto did not lose the fight...HE DUG DEEP TO TAKE THE LAST 2 rds...it is so predictable here that somehow every fight the loser got screwed....berto fought hard and he won...collazzo didn't lose any fans prob gained some status but he lost

because everyone hates on up & coming boxers

more people would rather see these guys lose

    - haye
    - berto
    - paul
    - angulo
    - kirkland
    - cotto
    - gamboa
    - arreola

then to see them win and become special fighters

in my eyes berto is a special fighter

    he showed

    balls
    heart
    chin
    ring intelligence in flashes

win or lose he is still a champ in my eyes

Berto's post-fight interview won me over. He is good for boxing.

To close to ***** about that ****.

As far as I'm concerned the way he fought in the 11th and 12th makes him a champion.

If he didn't get caught inside not using his superior footwork I think he would have won more comfortably, so I'm not so sure he is a total hype job either, way too much tallent to be a bum as some would suggest.
