I'm a big Berto fan and I had Collazo winning 7-5

Thoughs of you who have read any of my posts know how much of an avid supporter of Berto that I am and how I frequently defend him from many of his critics, but I have to admit that Collazo got screwed in this one. I had the fight 7 rounds to 5 for Collazo which ment the 12th round scoring baring multiple KD's or a KO for Berto was irrelevant to the outcome of the fight. It was Collazo who imposed himself on Berto for the duration of the fight which I found to be awfully surprising. He dominated Berto on the inside at times to the point where Berto had no clue of how to defend himself or mount any kind of a counter attack. I really hope Berto gives Collazo a rematch and actually prepairs himself better to deal with Collazo's style.

Class post, B. That's rare around these parts. The only other person I've seen make a statement like that is Benny Blanco regarding a favorite of his. True boxing fans, both of you. Respected.

Its refreshing to see that...You dont often hear that from fans, they delude themselves so much its crazy. So great to hear that Beenie.

Im yet to see the fight...Very interested to see how it went down.

Berto lost the fight but won the last round. Berto showed a lot of heart and grit and determination but you could see the glum frustrated look on the faces of DiBella and Haymon throughout the entire fight. You could see the desperation and panic in Berto's father's face and voice between rounds. To his credit Berto kept on plugging, is in great condition, is very tough, never stopped trying. But COLLAZO WON THIS FIGHT.

always said collazo was a good fighter.

he was disappointing against mosley and didn't do himself justice cos of the hand problems.

which kept him out of action for a long spell. just to prove how bad his hand was in that fight. :yep

berto is a good young fighter and some people think he won. ricky hatton still won that fight though. :yep

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I have to call it how I see it or else I would cease to be a "boxing fan" but instead be just a fan of a particular fighter(s).

    ~
    - Collazo won 7-5
    - The ref jumped the gun for the early point deduction
    - Berto needs to learn how to punch and turn rather than backup straight
    - Berto has the physical tools to be special
    - He should hire Roach!

Very nice Beenie, I had Collazo up by the point deduction which I thought was unfair.
