Kessler vs. Larsen closer than ever!

    According to a Danish Newspaper (BT), Kessler have said yes to the terms for a Kessler vs. Larsen fight in April. The reason why he is taking the fight is that, if he take the fight he can get rid of his contract with Team Palle (the next 3 fights) and get a new promotor!

    Any comments?

    My thoughts: Ok, why not! That old gezzer to Morgens Palle is done and Bettina Palle is aswell! He is a big time businessman and just want the last money out of Kessler!

    yeah , so much for the big name guy kessler was gonna fight....another garbage fight no one cares about and more importantly a fight that wont mean ****

    You miss the point. This is probably part of a EXIT Team Palle deal with Kessler.

    Well, it does make sence if he can get out of his contract with Palle!

    A fight between Kessler and Larsen would be interesting in for Danes and Europeans, but not for Americans.. fair enough, i understand that!

    Kessler should make a deal with Arena Box-Promotion...the best of 2 worlds - US and Europe!

    Kessler wants to leave Palle. (Kessler wants to fight in US, Palle wants to make big fights in Denmark)
    Palle has a 3 fight option on Kessler. Larsen just said no to a fight against Bute. The Kessler - Larsen fight should be schedule on March 14, Mogens Palles 70 birthday.
    I think the negotiation is as follow. Kessler give Palles his last big fight (In Denmark it will be huge) and Palle will leave boxing with a bang. After the fight Kessler is free to seek a new promoter and bigger goals abroad.

    True. Another wasted fight for Kessler. Rarely has so much talent been wasted to consequently.

    But GBP, Sauerland, Arena etc promoters should be jumping all over eachother to get Kessler's number...

    another disappointing fight for kessler.

    they should be looking at making a hopkins fight or a froch fight.

    I rather want a confirmation on him being a gay or not. He looks more geyish than Wlad in some pictures....:yep

    According to Mike Marley (I know, a very unrealiable source) they offered Hopkins €4 million to come to Denmark.

    Slider75: Kessler-Larsen would only be interesting for the Danes, not for any other Europeans.
