Well, if Berto was out of shape, he sure as hell didn't look it. He was 160 on fight night while Collazo was 155. Styles make fights and slick southpaws are the most difficult fighters to fight for most orthodox fighters.

You have to question how much Shane really has left at this stage of his career... but judging from their last few fights I'd say yes, Mosley would have taken Berto. Andre is a fine fighter, but he's not ready for the big boys at 147 yet.

Shane's too experienced at this point, he'd win a UD or stop Berto.

They are both so similar. They both have great boxing ability, great speed, and can throw good combinations. But they both have a tendency to brawl when it is not necessary. I would have to go with berto because of his youth and speed, but it wouldn't suprise me if shane took him to school, though.

Yeah, I would say. Doing research for the Collazo fight I was surprised at just how vulnerable Berto is in the punch resistance department. It's not even his chin, this kid is a dixie cup all the way around. He's weak everywhere. When Collazo knocked him halfway across the ring in the 1st with a forehead shot, I was just waiting for that. Steve Frickin Forbes was hurting Berto pretty consistently, FFS. Mosley would KO this kid.

I think hurting may be an overstatement there. But I'm not sold on Berto's punch resistance.

Hard punchers like Cotto, Margarito, ect. might hurt him pretty bad.
