That was a great stoppage when the guy is still throwing punches??? Manfredo was stopped this way too, but Shieka was fighting back and even through a right hand and the ref stopped it. I am not saying Shieka would have won, but give the guy a chance to try.

    It definiteily will be.

No network will pay for this fight, thats why this and fights like Holy Maddalone are PPV.

I think since the Watson and Mccellen tragedies fights tend to get stopped sooner in britain.

Roy Jones will walk through Sheika and either stop him or win a wide UD, Roy should go for a beltholder at 175, he's running out of time.

  12. Genaro Rodriguez is the usual type of corrupt or predisposed ref working Joe's fights. Early stoppages are the norm. Nothing to do with McClellan or Watson.

To this day, GR is still the kind of ref that is well aware of who is buttering his bread and leans in that direction if it's close or if he can provide some respite to a particular promoter's fighter or deliver an early end if it tilts against the opponent.

This will be a good sendoff fight for Jones. Let him go out with a win. He deserves to.
