De la Hoya- would he be considered an ATG if he had retired after Mayorga?

because all you've mentioned is tito and mosley...

a career isn't broken or made on that - and you called me out on this - so now you have to back it up.

and if you can't you're going to look pretty foolish, aren't you?

you better know your stuff, champ.

    your turn.

Go back and read. You reading comprehension skills aren't that weak... are they? I have already outlined in very simple terms exactly who Oscar had ALREADY beat before he even fought Tito, that would already have him listed as an ATG.

    answer the question.

    you're just a bullshitter, aren't you?

you can't give one straight answer to anyone.

tito was the biggest fight of both oscar's and tito's career.

tito might not have won that fight, but oscar lost it in the later rounds..

and you STILL can't answer anyone straight.

i'm expecting you to take more cheap shots from now on because people who don't know how to back up their points and can't see a way out usually do that.

    prove me wrong champ ;)

don't ever take cheap shots when you don't know how to respond to someone.

that's all this guy has tried to do and now he doesn't know what to post...

if he believed in what he said and backed oscar legitimately then he wouldn't have to be so petty.

    but he didn't.

Look man... you clearly can't read. I am not going to repost something that I already posted in this thread. Feel free to go back and read, rather than acting like a 3rd grader, trying to get me to typing the same things out.

Since you are slow... I will quote the post where I already listed how Oscar was an ATG since BEFORE he fought Tito.

    maybe i'm psychic....

read my post above and then decide to either stop spending more time whining when you could be defending your post or just give in and admit that you dont have a point of view to defend.

you've already said how dismissive you are of people who doubt oscar and yet 3 times - 3 times now - you won't back up what you say when you could have spent less time actually defending your post.

this is my last post to you if you're too much of a ***** to defend your post instead of whine (again and again) as to why you refuse to say it....

i meet people like you pretty often on the street - but i've put you on the spot over the net and you still can't talk straight.

so you think leija deserves props for his win over nelson and that rubs off on oscar just because azumah nelson's name can be linked to it?

same goes for hector camacho...camacho has some solid wins on paper but he was always a second tier opponent and his career reflects that.

i'll say it again - the BIGGEST fights of oscar's career he lost.

whittaker's a moot point too - you're trying to build oscar up off of faded fighters or fighters who beat faded fighters.

fighters are remembered for who they beat and the time in their career they beat them. you're trying to 'mother' oscar into greatness and oscar is never going to be remembered as a great.

    see what i mean?

all you can do is use emotes and take cheap shots. i'm answering anything you post but you can't do the same.

grow up and defend your fighter - if you can.

You must not rate JCC and Pernell Whitaker too highly. I mean... since Oscar moved UP in weight to beat both of them while they were both WBC Champions, and Whitaker was ranked #1 pd 4 pd in the world. It's funny how people now try to pretend that the #1 pd 4 pd Whitaker was shot or something. As if fighters who are ranked #1 can be shot at the same time.:-(

Tell me... where do you rate Duran as an ATG? Explain to me, exactly what are all of the huge fights that he won? Outside of his win against SRL, in which Leonard immediately shows who was the boss in the rematch... outside of his win against Leonard... name all of the huge fights that Duran won, which give him his amazingly high ATG ranking?
