The Greater Victory: MORALES v PACQUIAO I or BARRERA v HAMED?

Two of the best wins of this century for two of the best fighters.

But which do you think was the better win of the two?


Personally I rate Morales's win over Pacquiao more highly, but there is definitely a case to be made for either win, so please vote and explain your choice.

Erik won because of the gloves. Proof is in the pudding the next two fights.

MAB just spanked Hamed from beginning to end. Hamed pretty much was done after that.

 

MAB destroyed Hamed in and out.

 

the golves had nothing to do with it. and it's pac's team's fault for being stupid. anyway, mab was, IMO, the greater victory because of the easy MAB had with disposing hamed. morales, on the othher hand, won only by a couple of rounds

 

Barrera in way (I hate to use this word) "exposed" Hamed for what he truly was.

Morales beat a truly great fighter.

 

i think the barrera-hamed fight was the greater victory. if i'm not mistaken, barrera was going up in weight and it was his first fight @126. he dominated the lineal champ in hamed, crushed his confidence and hamed quit boxing shortly after that.

on the other hand, it was pac's very first fight @130 vs. morales. morales also had a big size advantage vs. pac, 145 vs. 138. but the fight was still close. morales won but probably got the worst of it.

IMHO, barrera's victory vs. hamed was greater.

 

morales is the only one of the three great mexican feather weights of this era to convincingly and clearly beat pac imo.

barrera's win over hamed was great. but morales beat a true all time great at his prime weight, while being slightly past it himself.

 

Morales defeated this decades greatest fighter imo.

Barrera dominated Hamed, but Morales beat the greater fighter so I would say Morales has the greater win.

 

at that time, i'd have to say mab's win over hamed. hamed was a favorite to beat both mab and morales during that time. today, it's easily erik's win over manny, who is an atg, while hamed is not

 

Those are just excuses that some fan's love to make...he didn't won beacuse of the gloves Lol.

And Pac did stop him on thier other 2 fight's but also remember how shot Morales looked before those 2 fight's when i saw that fight with Raheem i knew Morales was not going to have a change against Pac not taking anything from his victory but just saying...

You are not giving eighter of them any credit for those 2 big win's.

Erik did not win becuase of the gloves, though they did help the truth is Manny had a **** load of drama from his Promoter at the time Murad Muhammad and that **** carried on into the gym I mean the man simply was not mentally prepaired for the fight, I was at the gym during this time and between the fans that showed up to see Manny non stop and the Promoters friends consistantly in there ****ing with Manny because they knew Roach advised Manny to get a new promoter there was no way Manny was 100% for that fight.
