I hope team Hatton goes in another direction

Who can Hatton fight though that is credible, and looking for an opponent around that time?

 

I hope Pacquiao tells Hatton to **** off. Hatton has a golden opportunity to prove himself as one of the best fighters in the sport and he is letting it pass him buy. talk about false illusions of grandeur. who the **** is Hatton? Not even HOF material. Pac is an ATG, the best fighter in the world, and is giving up the weight advantage to Hatton, and Hatton wants to dictate the split?

I'd rather see Pac fight JMM again than fight overrated Hatton who only has a shot because he is fighting someone who's moved up about 7 divisons. Hatton couldn't even succesfully move up 1 division.

 

Put your dummy back in you're sounding like a ranting playground bully who doesn't get things all his own way. Pac may be an ATG but if he wants to come into Hatton's house at 140 where he is the champ, the top fighter and the draw he needs to know his place.

You've got to be kiding, if anyone is trying price themselves out its Pac 50/50 was agreed and he went back on it. You don't know the Hatton-Paulie PPV figures, they wer'nt released (Sky don't generally release PPV figures unless they are record breakers) or are you taking that 70,000 - 200,000 figure from the inaccuarate, vague and unnamed source in the Phillipino newspaper?

 

No numbers have been released for the Hatton v Malignaggi in common with the vast majority of Sky PPV events (actually Sky programmes in general come to that). Hence we can conclude that you are once again talking shite.

How on earth can this be the case logically? Have a word with yourself! Pricing yourself out of a fight is where you demand money which you know perfectly well the other side will not agree to so as to scupper negotiations. Bearing in mind that the Pacquiao camp had actually agreed the 50/50 split prior to their u-turn I fail to see how Hatton could be pricing himself out!

As for the Malignaggi figh PPV numbers, I would be most grateful if you could quote them with the source since nobody else on ths forum seems to have that info!

 

He beat Collazo more decisively than Berto did. If he looked anything during that fight it was underprepared, I think the fact he didn't have to get down to 140 lead to him actually undertraining compared to what he would normally do.

it depends how you win it, and who you win it against.

winning a controversial decision by hanging on for dear life in the final rounds against a fighter the caliber of Collazo is not successful by elite standards. And then throw in his other fight at that weight, and Hatton's comments about how he doesn't belong at WW, I don't see how even the biggest Hatton fan can say he was successful.

 

Against Collazo in a fight many thought the Hitman lost (just look after his face after the bout).

 

Well if Hatton was a success at Welter, as you claim, then surely he'd be talking about fighting the current top ww's, like cotto, etc, but he isnt, and there is no way that Hatton will fight at WW again, unless it is against DLH. But he's tried fighting the best in the world at Welter, and he wasnt up to it, so no he wasnt a success.

 

**** me, if that's going to be your criteria then Hatton has lost most of the fights in his career. Did you see his face after he beat Thaxton or Magee?
