I wondered the same thing myself on Sat.?
IMO, the jury is still out on Pac's 140lbs & beyond...
(135lbs is where he would be unstoppable IMO)

I mean Berto was a Middleweight come fight night on Sat.
not sure about this, height wise they are about the same.

I'd like to see Pac face a bigger fighter (besides De La Hoya).
(Hatton would be a good mesure, I might even like to see the winner challenge Berto)

Berto will need oxygen supply to fight Manny. He's got a pretty bad stamina.

Good question. Obviously Pac is favored in a lot of ways, but he's used to having a pretty good speed edge. Against Diaz and Oscar he was so much faster that he just demolished them. Berto has very good speed and would probably give Manny some problems. Don't forget that when Oscar actually hit Manny (albiet not very often), he moved him back, and Andre has good power too.

That said, Pac has a ton of experience and Berto does not. However now that he got some very valuable experience against Collazo who is also a lefty, Berto has a good chance to catch up, especially if he can get another couple fights that go into later rounds.

Right now I say Pac, but if given some maturation I think Berto would win. Had he never fought Collazo I'd have given Pac the edge even later, but that was such a valuable experience for Andre, it's going to help him long-term if he uses it well.

At any weight under 140 I would say Pacman by TKO middle rounds. At 147 I'm just not sure because Pacman has only defeated Oscar at anything north of 135 lbs. If they were naturaly the same size then Pacman for sure. At 147 lbs I dont know.

Wow, i'm shocked at the poll results. I still think given Pacman's style and Berto's hand speed and natural size advantage, he still takes Pacman out. I think people are getting a bit overboard with his DLH fight. I mean DLH came in at 147 on fight night. Unheard of. Pacman outweighed him. Berto was a solid 160 on fight night against Collazo. That is a 12 lb weight advantage.

they will never fight. One is world class, the other one only gets hype because he has a freakin' piece of medal as a souvenir.

Too much stock is being put into the DLH fight. I'd still favor Berto to win.

Berto plows right through him. He would outweigh him by around 15 lbs. and that's the only advantage he would need.

:yep This thread is a testament to how overrated Manny Pacquiao has became. Berto knocks Pacquiao out at 147.
