Dawson if he wants to claim another youngsters '0', and nobody could make any kind of excuse this time about weight or any bull****.

Otherwise the only logical fight I could see is maybe step up and take on Adamek, from a legacy perspective to pick up the cruiserweight straps would look nice on the CV.

Don't see too much else out there for him, he ain't getting a rematch with Calzaghe, and Jones seems a bit pointless at this stage.

Dawson is better than any of the above options, outside of Wlad which is an impossibility (and maybe, outside of Calzaghe which won't happen).

I dont even think Hopkins knows who Dawson is even. Hopkins has already dismantled Dawsons 2 biggest "wins" in much better fashion (Thats if you count the Johnson fight a win for Dawson) aswell as moving up in weight for one of them.

Dawson doesnt have the ring intelligence or adaptability to cope with someone as shrewd as Hopkins. This fight has nothing to do with physical traits.

 

The number one guy for Calzaghe or Hopkins is Bad Chad Dawson.

Hopkins just wants a more proven name if he fights another one.

Listen, Taylor--who is less athletic and smaller than Chad--caused Hopkins all sorts of problems with his speed and physicality.

Dawson is stronger and bigger, and has faster hands.

And unlike JT, Chad Dawson actually has pound for pound boxing skills.

Add all that up, and you get a points win for Bad Chad...and not a coin-toss decision like the JT vs. Hopkins fights. :good

 

I hope this fight happens, that way I can cruise to another title in kirk's championship thread again. So many dumbasses think Chad really has no chance. :yep
