I'd rate them like this, based on what they have been doing. Not neccessarily H2H...

    1. Thaxton
    2. Khan
    3. Murray
    4. Limond
    5. Castle

    One to watch: John Watson

    Thaxton easily.

He's the European champion ffs, and former British champion. All Murray has done is string together unimpressive performances and pick up Thaxton's old belt, while all Khan has done is picked up the Commonwealth title and get knocked out.

Not that Thaxton would necessarily beat Khan, I mean he's tough and he can punch and from a southpaw stance but I'm actually inclined to believe Khan would stop him on accumulation around 7, but on pure achievement he has to be the number 1.

Khan would probably come in second just ahead of Murray.

I went for Thaxton, should I be surprised that Khan came out on top? Not many people stated why though!

Thaxton on acheivements and fighters faced, but Khan's offensive talent and speed is a lot better than the rest on the list

Thaxton would do a job on Murray even at this stage of his career

I honestly dont beleive Khan to be the best lightweight.

    I voted Thaxton on achievment.

im always shocked. Khan gets allot of hate on here but whenever there is a "who would win khan or........., or a who is the best lightweight in UK"

Khan always comes out on top in the polls. i think theres allot of secret amir fans on here.

To be fair, I think alot rate him domestically. Just not as high as he rates himself. He's my #2 LW in the UK at the moment. But he'd get his ass handed to him by anyone at world level.
