I'm worried about these guys Pac is hanging around with, sound like the kind of people that'll drain him dry and ditch him for someone else when the money runs out.

 

exactly. that's why pac should leave arum after this fight and self-promote instead. arum has shown his true colors. his only loyalty is to himself and to the money he's getting for this fight.

 

I really think those people around him, his "advisers", does have that weasely, greasy, wily aura about them. But the Wakee Salud guy's been with him since the late 1990's, at least (the guy's a fight promoter and manager) and that Atty. Jeng Gacal is a relative.

So they're basically his family.

 

Arum will always look after Arum. He knows his promoters split out of this fight is a damn site more than his split out of any other Pac fight so he's desperate for it to go ahead.

 

i'm sure he did too. the only difference is that it wasn't out in the open like this. we have to thank arum for that, trying to ram that 50/50 verbal deal down pac's throat. and now it's 52-48 and arum's still at it.

What's funny here, is that Bob Arum and Hatton camp ultimatum, of "52% or no fight".

Because even if Manny had retired as early as after he won against Morales the first time, he would have still have won enough money to live like a king in the Philippines.

He's set for life as early as 2006.

So, money isnt that big of a deal now for him. He cannot be scared off or forced by anybody because of money. He and his family, and his grandchildren will live in comfort even if he doesnt take this fight.

But I think he will take it, for the challenge and the legacy it will give his career.

But he will not be bullied by threats of fight cancellations, I'm sure of that.

 

Financially you could say the same about Hatton though, legacy wise id another matter admittedly.

Let Manny keep all the US PPV's and Ricky keeps all the UK PPV's.
