He is way past his best and has been haunted with injuries and still hung with the current Top 3 in the UFC's deepest division:

    Forrest: Beat him
Evans: Draw - Would have been a victory if it wasn't for the point deduction
Machida - Was soundly beaten, but still almost finished him in triangle at the end of the fight. :deal

Damn straight hes still a very competitive fighter. Im curious to see how he looks once hes cleared to fight agian after surgery.

what is he getting surgery for?

im going to miss him in the UFC. he had that charisma to **** people off which was awesome. even when he did get his ass beat he could still **** people off.

his whole problem was over training. he would always work his ass off to the point where it was too much. this was evident in some of his fights IMO.

His resume is certainly looking better these days, but under the so called "eyeball test", he still looks slow on his shots and standup as bad as ever.

Tito is one of my favorite fighters. But his striking has improved just slightly in all these years. But I still think he's a very competitive fighter.

There are rumours that the UFC wants him back for the Germany (UFC 99) card. I doubt it will happen though.

hes not. his wrestling is overrated. and almost means **** all. i mean look at how many almost have happend in this sport and turned out to be duds.

he beat forrest and rashad but he was thier test to see how well they would do. in rematches they beat him becasue they have evolved and he hasnt. well i think he has a shot at beating rashad but no other top ten.

:patsch One guy really knocked him out thats a prime Chuck Liddell big deal there. So if Titos chin sucks then so does Guy Mezgers,Kevin Randlemans,Randy Coutures,Alistair Overeems,Jeremy Horns,Babalus,Vitor Belforts,Vernon Whites they must all have glass jaws. Dangerous strikers like Ken,Kondo,Cote,Wanderlei dropped him but for how long ? A combined 5 secounds maybe.

As a fan of his from back in the early days of proto-sanctioned MMA, I wish he'd never met Chuck Liddell (at least not in or close to Chuck's prime). :verysad I think the dominant nature of those losses helped fuel the anti-Tito fire over the last few years.
