Who will Wladimir Kitschko fight in April?

I think he'll fight Haye in May and then Povetkin in September or, with permission from the IBF, in October.

Hopefully it won't be Toney. Not only has he done nothing to deserve it, but he'd not win a single third of any round nor land any punch. It will be a glorified sparring session with Wlad landing jabs at will and the odd right cross / left hook, and the most spectacular thing of it all will be when the towel is thrown in, Brewster rematch style.

 

I hope it's Haye. Why? Because I want to see how a man who is full of himself gets knocked out brutally by Dr Steelhammer.

Now that Vitali has to fight Gomez, I think the Haye fight is what they are working on for Wlad this summer, then Povetkin in the fall.

That was the last I read on it, anyway.

 

Personally I would prefer to see Haye vs. Toney first, with the winner facing Wlad in in May. Both Haye and Toney are in need to make a statement in order to further hype the fight with Klitschko. This is especially true for Haye who hasn't proved much at hw so far...

 

He is a spent force. He has lost to Peter, Rahman and Oquendo in any reasonable person's opinion. Toney is one of my all time favourite fighters, his skills were so subtle it was like poetry in motion when he was on form but now I fear father time and father pie shop have caught up with him.

I give Haye a much better chance against Klitschko and I still don't favour him. I'd love it if he won, he's exciting to watch and I really respect him for coming up the hard way insted of cherry picking like everybody else. I can see him beating Klitschko, I think a couple of bi shos from Haye and it's all over, after all, Klitschko's chin is awful but the jab, the reach, the power, the text book outside boxing skills, the brains in the corner......the sensible pick is Klitschko but, again I can see Haye sparking him, I just think Klitschko will get to him first.

As for Arreola, I've seen him fight a couple of times and based solely on that (admitting that I haven't seen many of his fights but I did see the most recent one), I think he has zero chance of beating Klitschko and very little chance of beating either Toney or Haye. He's just a slugger and one without an Iron chin towhit an inferior Peter clone.

 

Haye is undisputed cruiserweight champion. Undisputed champions stepping up in weight have always been interesting and deserving fights.

Arreola doesn't deserve it, but at least he doesn't need a total gift against Oquendo, plus, he actually has a chance to beat Klitschko, unlike Toney.

Read my post carefully. I said that a Toney fight would look like the Brewster rematch.

Toney took a shitload of punches from the last world class heavyweight he fought, and he (Peter) was crude as hell. He got hit with plenty of combinations there. Wlad throws faster, more accurate and more powerful punches. Arreola at least is a threat to Wlad with his power, whereas the best Toney can do is lose a round without getting stunned. Toney is basically a fat version of Byrd, who never won a round against Wlad. No power, too small and a defensive, counter punching style is suicide against him.

 

They said the same thing about an old Mercer just before he was KO'ed by Wvlad. "...in 20 years of boxing" - yeah so he's ****ing OLD now. How could you have not noticed this? You're in love with a delusion of a young Toney who exists only in your head. You'll be crying like a baby and bitter as **** if he ever gets a fight with Wvlad as you see your hero ***** slapped to the canvas like he's a fly.:smoke

 

It will probably be Haye. He is the more deserving than Arreola and it would bring more money to the table. Also, Haye has the best chance out of anybody right now, of beating him.

 

I thought his next fight would be Haye.

I saw I post by CHEF saying so earlier today, and CHEF would have more knowledge than most anyone else here, correct?

 

It will either be Haye or Arreola.
