Who will Wladimir Kitschko fight in April?

    It looks like Haye, but I'm a little disappointed because in some interview a few weeks ago Wlad said he was going after Haye, Povetkins, and Arreola this year.

    If the fight with Haye is in May and the fight with Povetkin is in September, I doubt that he is going to fight Arreola with less than 3 months in the year.

    Wlad will not be fighting until May/June...against Haye...then Povetkin Sept/Oct

    1. First of all Haye was not undisputed as he did not have all the belts. His competition at cruiserweight was weak. Even Holyfield worked his way up to a title shot at heavyweight. Cruiserweight and heavyweight are not comparable. That being said, Haye-Waldo is an interesting matchup but Haye is not more deserving that Toney.

    2.Areola did not face anybody so far. Maybe Oquendo would win on points, how do you know? Fact is, Areola is unproven and Toney is not. Besides I think Toney deserved a close one against the big "O".

    3. Areola has zero chance against Waldo, not even a puncher's chance. hH is just too inexperienced techincally flawed and raw against a guy who has over 50 fights and fights extremely smart.

    4. Toney got hit quite a few times against Peter, especially in the rematch. But I did not see Peter landing combinations. His best punch was the jab and the overhand right.

    nonsense. haye was matched tough considering how few fights he's had. he beat unbeaten fighters in europe, fragomini for instance who also beat haye in the amateurs. he ko'd momeck of course. if you berate his opposition have to berate the division as a whole. the only talent at heavy is the klitschko's, remove them and which division looks deeper? what possible dispute can there be that haye was the champ at cruiser? he beat mormeck, cunningham didn't and it's almost a foregone conclusion that he would lose to both haye and mormeck, probably to maccarinelli, again almost certainly to bell as well.

    basically you're right. then again, it's not as if there's anybody worth putting in front of him.EDIT:i think i'm having a change of heart; a man named arreola fighting a man named klit is a potential seam of comedy gold (well, at least tin) that begs to be mined.

    If anybody writes nonsense, it is definitely you.

    Only Mormeck can be considered world class competition. The rest is European class.

    - Holyfield beat much tougher competition at cruiserweight and worked his way up to a title shot at heavyweight.

    - Michael Spinks was granted immediately a title shot. But he dominated the light heavyweight divsion for a long time and beat much tougher competition than Haye. Spinks is eve considered as one of the best light heavys of all time.

    - Toney faced tough competition at cruiserweight and in other weight classes. He worked his way up by beating Holy (number 5 ranked by the Ring at the time). In addition he was unlike Haye already an ATG when he moved up.

    - You can't compare the cruiserweight and heavyweight divsion. Nearly everybody being a cruiserweight champ failed at heavyweight. That is because heavyweights hit much harder.

    Toney's last fight proved that he should never fight on a televised card again, much less headline a main event

    and i'm pretty sure Arreola's gonna get waxed by the next guy he steps into the ring with thats a top 10 contender

    so i'd say his only 2 logical opponents would be Haye and Povetkin, and more then likely it'll be David first since he's more exciting and it'll generate more buzz

    Well, Haye - Wlado is a good matchup. If it does not come off I would like to see Toney-Haye in an eliminator. That is a good fight too, just imagine the press conferences. Haye has something to prove and so does Toney after his last outing.

    I want Ruiz. Why? Like him or not, Ruiz has some quality wins on his resume.

    With Valuev and Chagaev wanting no part of Wlad, why not Ruiz?

    The best thing would be to make some eliminators involving the likes of Ruiz, Haye, Toney and Areola in order to detremine who is really deserving to face Waldo or Vitali.

    All 4 fighters have their flaws.

    Haye and Arolea are unproven.
    Toney and Ruiz are proven but had already their opportunities in the past.
