    :rofl

I expect Khan to get an alphabet title at some stage in his career but finish with a record of something like 44-6(6)

Each time he fights a puncher it will be lights out.

i cant see alex arthur beating him at all:nono

AAA is very ordinary, Khan would stop him imo.....

but the truth is, once he reaches fringe elite, he's getting starched again:verysad

    possibly even by MAB:think

If he sticks to it Khan will probably bounce between paper-champ and contender for the rest of his career; ie: win a few, get a shot at a vacant title or the weakest champ, win the title, then make a few defences, people start to believe, then he gets taken out by a big puncher and he starts from scratch again.

Best he can hope for is to be remembered as a two-weight world champ when he retires, but it will be of the paper-champ variety; I can't see him unifying titles and taking over a division, no matter how weak said division might appear.

Even if he does, by some miracle, take over a division, there will always be somebody willing to step up a weight for short money in order to check his whiskers.

Alot to be said here for the match making he gets. I fully expected him not to fight another live opponent for about 18 months following the Prescott fight. Then MAB is announced. Obviously we have to wait and see how much he has left, but still a dangerous fight.

If he keeps taking those fights I can see him finishing with a fair few 'L's on his record, but being respected for stepping up.

i think he will be one of those fighters who wins a title then loses it then wins one and loses it again several times.

Does anyone believe he will ever win one of these top world titles?

    Like a WBC title.

Does anyone believe Amir Khan will become a WBC Champion?

Whoever he beats.......even if it was for a vacant title.........will he ever be on that level?

Or will he just be a flop like Audley and never deliever at the top level?

Its hard to name the belt Flint. I mean Gavin Rees won a WBA and I dont think anyone would really put him on that level.

He'll probaly fight a bum for the vacant WBO & then get starched by a mandatory challanger after a couple of defences imo.

I still don't get why people consider WBC the top title, just as bad as the other 4 titles.

I'm very confident Khan will pick up a world title in his career, and just as confident he will lose it fairly quickly.

In terms of unifying and staying a long term champ....doubt it.

yes I know that will probaly happen...........as does to most Frank Warren fighters

But can he progress beyond that and become a real World Class Operator

Like Naz was WBO Champ for Warren for a long time..........but went on to beat the WBA Champion and win WBC and IBF titles and mix it with the likes of a prime Marco Antonio Barrera

Can Khan go past the WBO and win other World belts and mix it and be competitve with the elite at his weight

on the same level that these fighters have

    Lennox Lewis
    David Haye
    Joe Calzaghe
    Ricky Hatton
    Naseem Hamed

these are the fighters who have mixed it with the best of their division and proved real world class

Will Khan ever be at this level?

Also most people would have made Khan clear favorite to beat Kevin Mitchell a while back.

Now Khan is exposed as having a glass jaw................while Micthell has proved he has got a real tough jaw.

Khans record has been soiled by a heavy KO loss..........while Micthell remains unbeaten.

I wonder who would be favorite for this one now.

Key question.........has Amir Khan beaten anyone as good as former British Champion Carl Johanseberg?

I dont think he has..........name a better fighter if you disagree with me.

Johansberg beat a better version of Michael Gomez than Khan did in better style.

    Also Micthell stopped Johansberg.

So I would say Micthell is the more proven fighter here..........despite Khan having looked more impressive on the way up.
