Jmm was in middle of negotiations, at that time JMM was fighting under Top Rank, JMM was asking for 1 mil i believe. He started high, and new he had time to come to an agreement. Erik Morales had just lost to MAB, Morales was pissed and bitter and wanted to prove a point by fighting Pac, proving to Mexico he was better than Barrera. He jumped in, and being a Top Rank fighter with a bigger fan base, Arum agreed to give Morales the fight instead of JMM. Morales took the fight in one month notice and 3 months since his war with Barrera. Pac agreed to fight Morales instead, and got beat by a past prime shot version on EM.

OMGosh. You cannot admit Morales was shot when Pac fought him, yes it was a last hurrah on EM part, but shot nonetheless. He had been well on his way down since the Chavez fight. Pacquiao beat a shell of what Morales once was.

I think bob arum is to blame. He had all praises for Hatton camp`s patience. Common sense would tell anyone we employ peeps to promote us, not the opponent. Pac should fire bob arum.
