Possible Explanation Pac hasn't signed...

    What I'm thinking is that Hatton and Pac can fight after one of them gets the legit WW title. You're right though. But Pac may want the WW Title belt on his resume before he retires, Hatton may want it too. If they beat Mosley then they have the belt and can lure out Floyd, possibly Cotto if he beats Margo or the other.

    I think it would be a TKO stoppage for Margo, yeah.

    Yea....His versitility, speed, reflexes and stamina, the chances aren't that bad. Power won't mean much to Marg but Marg is beatable through boxing. Manny has the skill set to out box Marg...but PACs willingness to engage will be the determining factor which has me believing he will end up like Cotto.

    No he did not. He won "a title". Margo is the recognized #1 at WW, if Shane beats him he will be the legit WW champ.

    I don't think the "Power/Respect" thing would be neccessary to beat a fighter like Marg if the TALENT Level is that of a PAC or Floyd Jr. The mental aspect is the difference between Floyd and PAC. Both operate with superme talent and Skills at the moment...but Floyd is a "Cool customer" he'll stick to the game plan even if it means a boring fight. PAC....hell no...he wants to go at it and that will be his undoing like it was for Cotto who boxed beautifully against Marg...and Cotto isn't as fast or versitle and not on the stamina level as either Floyd, PAC or MArg.

    Margarito holds the same title Hatton won. Mosley would be recognised number one, ok, and a higher stature than Collazo was. But that would partially be a result of people retiring/moving up, not like he would be linear champion or Ring champion or anything. Not anything particularly tangible in other words.

    Ok, not gonna argue with you. Just feel that beating the winner of Margo/Mosley would mean mountains more then winning the title from Collazo did. :good

    If Mosley wins, he probably won't have the title for long. Pac may want to jump on him asap. Or else the title may go to Cotto, Margo or some other beast Pac would have a harder time beating.

    Good point. Pac is improving his boxing with every fight, but you're right. He may not have the discipline, or the indifference towards the fans satisfaction, to stick to boxing when margo is running after him bangin his chest :deal

    possibly but winning the lww title from the linear champion whos never lost at that weight would do more for his legacy than winning an alphabet title from an ageing mosley would

    Maybe he thinks Hatton will be there after he's done with Mosley. I don't really know which one will be valued more. Maybe he's trying to pass Hatton all together and try and lure Floyd out at WW. Who knows.
