I'm pretty sure Bute wants badly to fight Andrade again. I don't know for his promoter. His coach wants the rematch too. Since his promoter and his coach are the same guy, I can suppose we'll see a rematch.
Bute by lopsided decision -- he's too much for the defense-less Lacy but i'm anxious to see Bute v Dirrell
According to a guy on boxrec.com. Bute will fight Fulgencio Zuniga and not Lacy. I guess he was asking for to much money.
Bute is going to fight the guy that lost a vacant title to Denis Inkin who just lost in his first defense to Karoly Balzsay? Is this a joke?
Zuniga's better than Lacy anyway. It would be nice to see him step it up a notch and actually fight someone dangerous though.
Find ONE champion always taking dangerous fights. It's an optional, Bute lost two months waiting for Larsen and get rid of a contractual obligation. He has to fight soon. Zuniga is not that bad. He has not been popped at the 15th spot just to respect the rules.
There aren't any, but Bute really hasn't taken any. People think of Andrade as a dangerous fight because they didn't know if his conditioning would hold up (and it didn't), but everyone knew going in that Bute would be able to outbox the **** out of him. Bute has yet to face anyone who MIGHT even outbox him, possible exception of Bika.
Taylor and Kessler (not sure of Balsay) are the ones that can do it. Froch won't outbox Bute, Inkin, Pascai neither. Maybe in one or two years Dirrell could do it but for the moment he's too green. And if I was his manager, I would refuse a fight against Bute now. So there is only 2 fights that could fulfill your desires, and mine too! Maybe later this year.
The news was just confirmed by rds.ca According to the article. US television preferred Zuniga instead of Lacy so that's who Bute will be fighting on March 13th.
