Pacquiao isn't ducking Hatton. He just beat DLH and now he's the face of boxing so he thinks he deserves more money. But no one else can guarantee him the amount Hatton can give him. **** this is ****ing bull****. ****ing money issues, this is the type of **** that pisses me off about boxing. A fight like this can generate a shitload of mainstream press and add more fans to the sport, but money gets in the way. :fire:fire:-(

How is it overrated at the higher weight. Pac stepped up and faced DLH and stopped him and would have knocked him cold or hurt him badly had the fight not been stopped. Hatton stepped upto to Welter and it was a disaster that's why he ran back to 140. Pacs power is not overrated. The man can punch.

I don't think Pac is coward nor greedy as his records and the circumstances surrounding his fights say otherwise. I don't even think that it is a case of bloated ego, the guy is known for his humility not only in his country. I believe Pac simply wants respect. Probably he was pissed at the way Arum was handling the negotiation as he acted like it was Hatton he was promoting rather than Pac. :patsch

You're 50% correct! He's not scared of Hatton but he's not greedy! He just wants respect, lets give the guy a break!

Yeah, Hatton is like a schoolyard bully but no, he doesn't own Pac. A guy who could not put away a light-hitting, one armed fighter will never own a fighter of Pac's caliber!:nono

as a fan of pac, **** him for not signing to this fight. but i respect him for standing for what he genuinely believes that he is worth more than what is being offered. he can get another fight much better for his legacy but i doubt he could get another one as big a money fight as hatton unless it is a floyd fight.

and yes, pac considering floyd and even margarito means he is ducking hatton. :-(

Delusional is too harsh a word to describe a good champ like Hatton. IMO, Ricky thinks he deserves even money because he is the best LWW which is rightly so since he is undefeated at that weight plus the fact that it was his belt that is officially at stake.

I think Pac is pissed at Arum in the way he acted like Hatton's agent.:patsch

As a fan of Pac, how could you **** Pac for wanting a little more respect after his accomplishments. He is the toast of boxing now, Pac deserves more pay, no matter how small, than Hatton. And yeah, to the haters, Pac fighting Floyd or Margo and even Chad or Haye means ducking Hatton.:patsch

of course he has the right to demand respect from all what he has done. though a 52-48 split is a sign that they did acknowleged him as the draw, it is far from what pac wanted (60-40) but is near to what he might accept, 55-45.

i say, **** him because imo, this is a fight where he would get the biggest reward (financially and legacy) while having the lowest risk (compared to floyd and other welters) and he would just let it go because of his pride and ego.

on pac's side, i think his real opponent here is GBP and how they forced pac to accept a measly 32% split when he fought oscar. knowing that hatton is a GBP fighter, he is just getting back at them by forcing a larger than 52-48 split.

I think it's just a case of poor negotiation skills as both camps would be losers if the fight was called off.

Come on, if you really liked Manny then give him a break. All he is asking for is a little more respect.:?
