To be using them, based on appearance and or attitude in the ring. In the Leonard match-up, Camacho had the look of a steroid user. Bloated, massive barrel chest. Not fat at all, but the softness you'd associate with someone on or coming off of a cycle. Camacho is a 5'6 guy who started his career at under a 130 pounds and was fighting at middleweight for that match. Wouldn't be surprised if he did a cycle preparing for the Leonard match, considering the stakes and payday. He very much had that Pazienza appearance, who's a proven roid' user if I'm remembering correctly. What fighters have you had suspicions of?
holyfield without a doubt.. if the mr olympia physique, the immense jawline, heart and kidney problems, sudden baldness and gaining 36 pounds of pure muscle while doing a ton of cardio arent enough evidence then youll never be convinced.. also pazienza mosley paqauio roy vargas ken norton (but id be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt) golota vlad seldon andries
Frank Bruno Mike Tyson Tommy Morrison Wladimir Klitschko Vitali Klitschko James Toney Possibly Ike Ibeabuchi
James Toney and Vargas were both caught using anabolics. Toney twice. But yeah, Ike's definitely a great choice. ****ing 240 pounds of pure muscle with those cannonball shoulders. I don't think the extra aggression helped his mentality or out of the ring decisions either.
When you really think about it, anabolics can help, but hurt you quite a bit, especially if a fight goes over 4 rounds. It will give you bigger type 1 and 2 fast twitch muscles, but once that glycogen is depleted, its just extra weight to be lugging around. Aggression is something that will get you into big trouble in the ring.. Someone young is most likely to take good advantage of anabolics with the ability to weight drain a lot.. But as you get older, its a lot harder to de and rehydrate in a day. Makes you think, there should be a limit as to how much you can put on after a weigh in, there should actually be two, legit weigh ins. I'm guessing 5 lbs is a fair amount.. It would make it a hell of a lot harder to take full advantage of anabolics. Unless you are just using them to lose fat, or recover from an injury.. I tend to think roids should be encouraged for those coming off serious injuries. But this sort of thing should be monitored and regulated by doctors licenced by boxing commissions, or whoever the **** is in charge.. Nobody seems to know, probably some money God.
I always suspected Evander did after he was beaten up by Bowe. Either than or he'd undergone a course of Intravenous Therapy with Joe Weider milkshakes. :hey
Evander Holyfield Shannon Briggs Evander Holyfield Fernando Vargas Evander Holyfield Andrew Golota Evander Holyfield Ivan Drago Evander Holyfield
1% of human being if that are capable of the kind of build Ike had. His physique was literally superhuman. To even further narrow it down... He's in the most steroid heavy division of a sport where anabolics are used rampantly to begin with, in maybe the sports biggest decade for them ever. Oh, lets not forget Ike's record smashing punch output while being 235-240 pounds of pure solid Mr. Universe like muscle. It's really all a bit much to realistically deny. It's not so much about giving someone the benefit of the doubt as opposed to using some degree of logic.
Some just feel free to make allegations detrimental to others ,without any proof ,weve had this with the Dempsey thing and also Johnson, when challenged to provide proof they fall silent or say things like "I read it some where,or some one said it,Im not the only one saying it". Plucking percentages out of the air at random proves nothing, the burden of proof is on the accuser . Whatever happened to INNOCENT UNTIL PROVED GUILTY?
This isn't a jury, we're asked who (in our heart of hearts) do we think took them. It's just a debate, lighten up.
McVey is one of the tighest wound posters on this forum, he must be clenching his ******* everytime he's smashing up a response. You want the ****ing truth McVey? You think you can handle the truth?!!
