What was the guy's name who ran the Ultimate Golota Homepage? Tomaz or something? Remember when Golota walked out against Tyson, he wrote in bold letters This site is CLOSING!!!

Safe to say ol' Tommy was no longer a fan of Golota's after that fiasco. For many of the Golota-faithful, the Tyson humiliation was the last staw.

Of course The Golota Express took in lost refugees and recruited many new fans as well for Golota's second career.

    :good

I don't remember his name, but I will NEVER forget seeing that message after that fight!

The funniest part is, while we all assumed that was the end of Golota, he still made a big splash four years later in his bouts with Byrd and Ruiz, and he still provided entertainment in other bouts, too, such as the fights against Mollo and McBride (it KILLS me that he did not retire after the Mollo bout).

Yeah, and after that, I remember just wanting to chat with fellow Golotaholics! I needed an ample dose of Golota therapy that night!
    :rofl:rofl:rofl

You know, I kind of hope Golota does have one more fight, but I hope it's against a lesser opponent. I think Bowe would be perfect.

Good to see this thread is still alive, I hope Golota comes back for one more 1 more fight, and then end his career, JUST BEAT BOWE, rematch and get that win and retire, the people know he did enough to take the title from Bryd and Ruiz so all he really needs to do end his career with a good win

BOTH Ultimate Golota Forum and Golota Express were like therapy sessions, seriously :deal

There were many a days I recall feeling like Bob From 'What About Bob', in desperate need of his daily dose of Dr.Marvin.

    :p

After the arm injury against Austin, I was all ready to put an end to this whole thing.

But I'm startin' to like the idea of Golota giving us just one last fight.

But if not, that's just as well. He's definitely too shot to make any kind of serious comeback at this point.

Actually Hoax I started feeling the same way recently. I hope he decides to hang em up and focus on other things. He could stay competitive doing the cycling and tennis thing. Raise money for charity in tournaments etc.

I do not want to see him get seriously hurt cause I intend to meet him someday.

Personally I am ready to move on from the Golota fandom thingy. it has been SOOOO much fun regardless that he has not won a title. That "So close yet so far" theme throughout his career has always been the fun dramatic part of this thing but now it really is time to move on.

I would feel complete if he retired. the lesson would be no matter how hard you try it still may never happen. Oh well so is life. I would pay my debt to soriano and move on.

We would still have memories upon memories of all the fights he has had in the past and stories about attending his fights and the side stories those events produced ect. so this thread will no doubt live on in one way, shape or form!

But if he decides to have one last goodbye fight then.......

    GO GOLOTA!!!

It's hard to believe, but this site is still up. Its like visiting a place frozen in time, just before the Tyson fight. It's a blast from the past. Check it out:

Granted, its not being updated, but this guy Tomasz must still be paying monthly hosting and annual domain fees if his page is still accessible. In total, this will run you at least $70 bucks or so a year. In that case, maybe he still has a little Golotaholic in him. Maybe he's among us? Soriano?

She is the mother of Jesus. We give her respect for being the mother of God. Please don't make fun of her. I'll appreciate that, bro.
