Should Nigel Benn be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

I agree but for me the HoF list is there just to recognise boxers who achieved something or made a difference in some way just like the WWE. The ATG list seperates HoF'rs from the elite.

I hope it's a matter of time before there's a clear line between the 2.

Nothing to do with it. And, they don't care about Benn not having a perfect record either. He gets credit for his abilities and for having fights with other great fighters while they were still prime. Heart of a champion ...

 

He's already in my, and many others hall of fame so in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter .

He was a top draw fighter in a top draw period. Warriors were ‘ten a penny’ on both sides of the pond in the SMW division during his era.

 

I think Nigel benn is overrated on these forums, but yes he does deserve to inducted.

atsch a world champ who he beat all the US fighters he faced and look at the list he beat.

 

If you look at some of the other fighters that are in the hall of fame, he is just as deserving, so a big YES to that.

benn is probably my favourite fighter of all time but he didn't do enough in his career to justify a place imo.

 

i believe especially after the g-man fight that americans have the utmost respect for benn. most certainly one of the most respected british fighters on this board in recent years, if not for his actually career but for his balls out the basket, hold no prisoners do or die attitude in the ring.
