Simple question, where does Julio Cesar Chavez deserve to be on the ATG list?

Also, do you think JCC is overrated by some?

I voted top 10 as I have him at no8, if he had beat Whitaker to become a 4 weight champ, cleaned out at 147 & retired unbeaten, it would be a toss-up between him & Robinson IMO.

To answer your other question.... every elite fighter is overrated by SOME but Chavez is underrated by MOST, especially here on ESB.

Ps. I wish everone would make public votes because some idiot voted that JCC was not an ATG, now he doesnt have to declare his stupidity & explain this nonsense.
Public votes also cut out respected posters/posters voting for their favourite fighters when up against a clearly superior fighter.

    :good

Top 30, he was a great fighter in his prime, one of the top 3 superfeathers and a good lightweight who went 87-0 before losing. He recieved a couple of gifts here and there, but I would say he rates right behind Hearns and Arguello.
