From fightnews: The most expensive ticket to the May 2 brawl between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton will be priced at $1,000, Top Rank big boss Bob Arum told Manila Bulletin and Fightnews on Friday. The fight will be held at the 17,000-capacity MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas but the venue will be reconfigured to seat a little more than 16,000 plus, according to the Harvard-educated lawyer and Hall of Fame promoter. Tickets will go on sale starting Friday, Jan. 30, and not all will be sold to the public since the MGM Properties as well as Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which promote the British superstar, will also be given their respective allotments. When Pacquiao faced Oscar De La Hoya last year, only 600 tickets went on sale for the public since the vast majority had been purchased by the promotional outfits and even by the casinos. Arum said he will work hard to increase the number to accommodate more fight fans. Hatton is bringing in hordes of fans from England.

Looking to book flights next week. To people who have went to see Hatton in America before, how hard will it be to get a hold of a ticket?!
Getting a legit ticket at face value will be very hard. Getting a ticket if you are willing to pay extra is easy (I've never been to a sporting event where you couldn't get in if you were willing to pay enough cash).
The whole ticketing issue pisses me off, they should have a system like they do for international football fans who follow their team abroad. The more fights you attend the more points you earn the higher chance you have of a ticket. Went over for Mayweather and Malignaggi fight and not going to even bother trying to get a ticket for this coz there's no chance in hell.
If you've been to see Hatton in America before then you will have a better chance of getting a ticket through Hattons own outlet. I got 2 tickets for the Mayweather fight as I had been at the Castillo fight. If you can afford the more expensive seats you have a much better chance as most people for the PBF fight were trying to get the cheap seats. As others have said if you are prepared to pay the cash then it should be possible somehow. I will probably put my name in for a couple and if I get them fine but if not then I'll save a fortune and watch it at home on sky.
